I went to Penwarden to have my grandmother's engagement ring updated with a new diamond. What a pleasant and fun experience. Rachel was very helpful, guiding me along with her knowledge. The Best Jewellery Store in Toronto. All items are uniquely crafted. Great custom work also. Linda's unique settings and jewellery work are original and just simply stunning. Their customer service is also fantastic. Ask for Marlene - she is so helpful and never pushy. Top notch.

Marlene helped me through the purchase of a custom made engagement ring. I came in with a budget, band size, timeline and a few inspiration images and she handled everything else.
Marlene and Penwarden were a dream to deal with. For someone who knows nothing about this type of purchase Marlene made the process as straight forward as possible. For someone like myself who has limited knowledge in jewelry, diamonds, etc., Penwarden is a great place to start. They will work within your means to ensure you get what you want.

I just had my diamond engagement and wedding band cleaned, rhodium plated and tipped by Penwarden Fine Jewelry. I am thrilled with the result. It took just over a week, and the price was reasonable given the outstanding quality of workmanship. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in sales/service -- and never aggressive. I love everything in this lovely store, and will maintain a "wish list" for future gift ideas. My fiance and I recently designed my engagement ring with Marlene at Penwarden. Before we made the decision to choose Penwarden we visited several other jewelers ranging from boutique to big box. It was clear to me after a few other stops - Penwarden was the place if we wanted it to be personalized and special.

I was first drawn into this beautiful store in Mount Pleasant Village by a stunning pair of briolette-cut citrine dangle earrings in the window. That was in the early 2000s. Years later, I still drop by when I'm in the neighborhood, sometimes just to look and sometimes to get an adjustment made to one of my own pieces.

I had a very good experience at Penwarden Fine Jewellery selecting and customizing an engagement ring for my fiance. The staff were helpful and happy to show me a wide range of options within my budget, including styles that I was not initially considering. What drew me to this business over other jewelers in the City was Linda Penwarden's, designs and craftsmanship. Her signature lotus bezel setting is beautiful and unique and the ring looks beautiful from any viewing angle. This was not the case for many others that I looked at. Received a gorgeous pair of silver butterfly earrings as a gift. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the silver and the design was unique. The earrings arrived elegantly wrapped in a white box with ribbons and wrapping paper. I look forward to purchasing other pieces from Linda in the future.

They're ridiculously polite and nice here. When Linda Penwarden, the owner, returned my call, she was so friendly and chatty over the phone that for a few seconds I mistook her for a Linda I knew from university!

Each time I've gone to their store, I've looked rather shabby: tatty jeans, caps et al. Yet they've not treated me like a homeless person.

With each step I take in their store, I make all their glass cabinets rattle. They praise my remarkable presence!

No pun intended here, but this is a neighbourhood gem. The staff are sincere, attentive and very helpful in helping you make decisions. The products are very nice, classy, and unique. My wife had a .75 diamond that wasn't being used and finally decided to put it to good use. She didn't have any designs in mind, but was carefully guided through a selection before landing on "the one" - jaw-dropping gorgeous.
