Are you thinking of selling your home? Find out what issues may affect the negotiations prior to listing. A common question that potential home buyers will ask any home inspector is, "What will be included in the inspection report?" The best way to answer that question is to help inform the client and shape their expectations by understanding not just what we will look at, but also outlining what is not included.
We strive to provide our clients with easy to understand and upfront pricing on their home inspection cost so that, just like hiring a home inspector to avoid any future surprises, you know what your inspection will cost before you book with us. Prices are based on the type, location, age, and liveable, finished square footage of the home to be inspected.
Once payment has been received and the contract signed, the inspection will begin. The report will be started during the inspection process and a completed version, available for you to print and/or save, will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the completion of the inspection. A typical inspection of an average sized home should take between 2-3 hours.

Phil did an home inspection on a house prior to our purchase. He was polite, thorough, and made us feel confident in his ability to identify any potential issues. When the home sellers came back early, Phil offered to ask them a few of the questions that had come up during the inspection, which was extremely helpful. My inspector, Phil, took the time to completely check everything over from top to bottom. He was willing to answer any questions I had and helped teach me some things about my future home I would never have known. Used Cornerstone Inspection Services for my new home inspection. Phil arrived before me to do a thorough years, deck and exterior inspection. When I arrived he thoroughly went through all defects and future issues that may arise. He had a full checklist he went through from the basement to the roof. I was a nervous buyer so I wanted to make sure that the investment I was going to make was a sound one. I hired Cornerstone and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Their inspector, Phil (I think he was the owner), came and inspected everything and then some. His report was convenient and quick and had lots of useful information and pictures explains his findings. He also took the time during the inspection to answer my questions and explain things that I didn’t know about so that I would understand them later after closing.
