I had searched around for a good introductory dojo for my eight year old girl. I was very lucky to find GDSD. They teach a traditional style with a calm yet disciplined style that is very much about instilling discipline and instruction in an effective traditional style. The sensei are patient, but firm with the kids, taking the time to show proper form as well as taking care of the internal aspects of the martial arts. I cannot more highly recommend this place for parents interested in a solid, patient and above all safe environment for their children to learn the martial arts. The approach instills
