In 1994, Andrea Grace turned her passion for fitness into an interactive and innovative program designed for new Moms and babies alike. Andrea was a freelance fitness instructor for 10 years and then became pregnant with her daughter Rachel. It was a natural progression to continue teaching fitness classes that incorporated baby Rachel - and Mommy and Baby Fitness was born!
Rachel was a fussy baby and needed more interaction then to just sit and watch the workouts, so our fun and fabulous Mom and Baby warm ups were created to songs we all know and love to sing and dance to. After the warm up baby Rachel was content to rest by Mommy Andrea's side while she taught an intense post natal fitness class to her group of new moms, then wanted to be in the core training action on the mats!

With the current situation of the pandemic, we have launched Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout and Play online so new moms and dads can continue to enjoy this long-standing program from the comfort of their homes. Our goal is to provide families with our energizing, intense and fun program while maintaining safety for all.
Mommy and Baby Fitness and our team of certified fitness professionals have created fun, fabulous and unique warm ups that we do with baby! We lift them, dance with them and utilize them as weights to choreographed routines with great music you know and love!
After our Mom and Baby warm up, we put our babies down beside us (either back in their car seats or strollers, or on mats provided) so they can watch us (or sleep or play!) and continue our "mommy only" workouts.We use a variety of equipment supplied by the gym to optimize a full body workout each class, intense but easy to follow and always post natal.

Andrea Grace is the founder, director and CEO of Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout and Play, established in 1995. Andrea is a Can Fit Pro, ACE certified fitness professional with 28 years of teaching experience. She carries specialty certification in Fitness Instructor Specialist, Pre/Post natal fitness, Yoga, Infant stimulation, Children's Fitness programs, Spinning, Turbo Kick and Personal Trainer Specialist.
Infant massage is a great way to bond with your baby. What's more, massage can promote better sleeping, relieve colic, and even enhance an infants immune system, motor skills and intellectual development. This is an informative session where both parents are welcome to attend, parents will be taught the basics of baby massage technique - hands on baby, so they will be able to use the skills learned at home.

Andrea is amazing! She loves the babies and cares about the mamas! You are guaranteed a good workout (she provides many modifications) and a great class afterward for your baby! She also gives a booklet of all the songs, so you can sing them at home, too! Andrea has a variety of guest speakers who come and educate mamas on a variety of topics. Thanks for this amazing class!

I've attended this program about 8 years ago with my older child, and now again several times with my baby. Andrea is amazing, I enjoy every class with her. She makes the class fun, and is always upbeat and brings a smile to all of our faces. I find the class challenges me to exercise hard, without too much pressure. I still keep in touch with some friends that I have met at this class 8 years ago. It's a great way to meet new mom friends.

LOVE THESE CLASSES!
I’m taking the fitness and swim class with my little one. I was a little hesitant to take a fitness class as I’ve been very out of shape since being pregnant but the class is perfect for any fitness level! The whole class is modifiable to your level of fitness whether you’re a beginner or expert. My first class I was impressed because it seemed like I put little effort into the class but my body was really feeling it! I was excited to come back every week, there were new challenges and new workouts. Andrea is a great instructor, welcoming and friendly, very encouraging

Such a fun and intense workout program you can do with baby. Great bonding with baby, postpartum workout and way to meet new moms and babies. Andrea is energetic and creative in her workout routines. Actually intense workouts that she gives you different variations depending on your strength so great for different levels of fitness. Interactive with babies and comfortable environment if you need to feed, change or let babe rest. Absolutely adorable baby warm ups and closing play time. She also always has a different guest speaker at the end of class. Would highly recommend and do again.

I’ve researched and tried different classes in the neighbourhood and this is the best bang for your buck. The classes provide a wide range of exercises for all different levels. I like the constant options of modifications to exercises depending on postpartum recovery which other classes don’t always offer. There is also a lot of flexibility in making up missed classes. The classes provides infant stimulation for baby and toning for mommy. Highly recommend!
