Prior to launching Casuccio Property Management, Dan was an employee of the Effort Trust Company for 30 plus years. Under the mentorship of the the late Mr. Arthur Weiz, founder, Tom Weiz President & CEO and David Horwood CEO, Dan managed a multitude of properties of diverse categories, his portfolio exceeding 1900 units.
Dan recognized the investment interest in Hamilton and the need for management firms with the knowledge and expertise to provide quality personable service to midsized investors and so he created Casuccio Property Management Inc. Dan earned a diploma in Business from Mohawk College and has been a member in good standing of the Institute of Housing Management since 1995.

My experience with Zebra Property Management has been nothing short of what I would like to call a "beyond ideal landlord and tenant relationship", and I am well aware that within the City of Hamilton, the issues arising between landlords and tenants can be numerous and fraught with tension.
By way of illustration, I would like to highlight two examples where I felt like I was a much cared-for and valued tenant under their management:
1) Firstly, when Locke Street was under some pretty severe maintenance a few months ago, the water lines had gone berserk and, as a result, the outdated ice box

I have been living here for many years. The problems I have experienced have been constant. Dan himself has been ineffective in keeping this place clean, safe, and there are many safety issues in units. We have had many bug issues in both buildings which were not addressed quick enough. He is highly intimidating and sometimes you fear making a complaint. He does not answer texts and does not tell the truth about spraying bug issues.

The place was beautiful when I moved in. Now it is cleaned every 3-4 months. There is garbage everywhere. The onsite "superintendent" is never on site, or when he is he doesn't do anything. The only way to get repairs done is to call the city by-law to force them to the work. The super keeps his trash and work stuff outside in piles in the courtyard. the grass is cut twice in the summer. The place is disgusting. Don't move here.
