When we first started we were going to be selling used auto parts, hence the name, as well as tires. As time progressed, we decided to put Harvey's Automotive Service Technician license to use and start repairing cars as well. We hired an apprentice under the futures program. In 1994, we were approached by the owner of Pete's Automotive to purchase their already thriving Auto Repair Shop at our current location in Port Dalhousie.
We offer a variety of services from: A/C Service and Repair, Air Filter Replacement, Annual Inspections, Battery Changes, Belts and Hose Replacement, Brake Repair, Cooling System Service and Repair, Driveline Service & Repair, Electrical System Maintenance, Engine Diagnostics & Computer Scans, Fluid Inspection, Headlight Restoration, Preventative Maintenance, Oil Changes, Safety Inspections, Suspension Repair, Transmission Fluid Flushes, Tire Sales and Installation, Tire Balancing, Tire Rotation, Tune-ups, Windshield Wiper Sales and Installation & Wheel & Tire Packages to name a few.
Heating and A/C systems could wear over time with use, appropriate routine maintenance can maintain your vehicles cabin temperature for the comfort of you and your passengers. Heating and A/C systems function to keep your vehicle cabin warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The air conditioning system additionally offers a dual function of working your defrost in the winter season.
Trucks, trailers and converter dollies, alone or in combination, with a total gross weight, registered gross weight or manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of more than 4,500 kg require an annual inspection. If a vehicle meets all the requirements of an annual or semi-annual inspection, a sticker is applied to the vehicle and a certificate and report are issued by the inspecting station.

I've had to take my car here twice now because it's close to my work. And I'm so happy I now have a place I can feel comfortable going to with any car issues, especially being a woman (I know ZERO about cars). They do NOT take advantage of you and they have your best interest. Much appreciated and I will confidently return any time I need anything!

The worst part about picking a mechanic is finding one you can trust, because most people don't know much about their car.
I was referred here by a couple people who said Hainers is the place to go, and they were right. This is a quality and trustworthy team.

Harvey and his team have always been great. Honest and reliable, they will do the necessary work and advise on whether something is worth doing and won't try to do things that aren't necessary. My father-in-law has been going to Hainer's for years, and has had the same experience. It really is great to have an honest and reliable mechanic!
