I write this with a heavy heart knowing that I won't see all of you and hear more stories, and of course, raise so much money for Dr. Zachary Kaminsky and the Royal Ottawa to help the mental health, and suicide prevention research that the world so desperately needs. As you know we've cancelled the 2020 Golf Event, but the cause still needs the support of those that can afford to provide it.

A large part of Rideau View's charm is its pastoral setting. There are no homes adjacent to fairways or the noise of passing traffic. The result is a relaxing environment that is still remarkably close to Ottawa's urban centre. Rideau View was founded in 1957 and its 18 holes were designed by Canadian architects Howard Watson (current back nine, 1958) and C.E. "Robbie" Robinson (the front nine, 1961).
At the heart of Rideau View's game improvement philosophy are the teaching skills of our professional staff which includes Director of Golf & Instruction, Matt Robinson, who was awarded the George Knudson Teacher of the Year Award in 2017 by the PGA of Canada, and Pro Emeritus, Paul Sherratt, a recent PGA Hall of Fame inductee, with support from long-time associate professional, Tim Sewter.
Our members look forward to trying the creations of our food and beverage team led by our clubhouse manager Taylor Kohlman, and head chef Tyler MacLeod. At Rideau View, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our positive impact on the environment, look for internal solutions to reduce costs and support the local business community when possible.
There are few venues like Rideau View Golf Club for your big day; few venues in Ottawa that can offer a combination of a lush setting and private-club level service. Located just 25 minutes from Ottawa's city centre, it affords a romantic, pastoral setting with experienced and detail-oriented staff who are prepared to meet your every request.
At that historic meeting, 66 men made the formal decision to build a golf club. A ladies' association was established in 1957. Several committees were formed and swung into operation. A 200-acre parcel of land near Manotick, Ontario was purchased, and several prominent businessmen volunteered their time, expertise and business acumen to make the venture a success.

My daughter and new son-in-law fell in love with this venue the first time we visited and although the venue is furthest from home than the other venues we visited the drive was well worth it. The two coordinators, Taylor and Kristie are truly the best. We were treated as if we were part of their family and that's how all our guests were treated. We had a person who is vegan and two vegetarians and although their menu did not have vegan options Taylor and the chef created a wonderful meal just for them. We had our wedding at Rideau View, and it wouldn't have gone so well had it been booked anywhere else.
We wouldn't have had such a perfect day had it been any other team helping us. Taylor and Kristi and the remaining staff were unbelievable; they were attentive, never made us feel like overbearing guests, were quick on their feet, and guided us through the day's events like they've been studying my schedule for years. AND THE FOOD! The guests couldn't stop raving about the pizza and pasta buffet they cooked up. As for the property, we were floored. It was immaculately kept, and had some of the

A golf course for golfers. A club where the members are very welcoming to new members. Great participation in the the various leagues and tournaments. A nice looking club house which can be booked for weddings, parties and business meetings. Reasonable annual dues and lots of different membership levels.

Had the privilege of playing this gem. What a beautiful course. The fairways are near plush and when you stand on the tee you feel like a PGA pro and everything looks just like on tv. WoW!! The staff were incredible, the food was great and oh I almost forgot...they have once of the best ranges I've ever seen. Hope to get invited back soon!
