To call the concept "farm-to-table" new is incorrect - it has been considered the norm for all great restaurants in Europe and many in the US over the past several decades. For years, chefs have worked with their local suppliers and based their menus upon the seasonal product of the region.
We have undertaken the same philosophy, emphasizing the best artisan producers from the Niagara region and surrounding areas; using the restaurant to not only showcase our team's talent to our guests, but also showcase the individuals behind the ingredients.Our wine program is, and will always be, driven by Niagara.

Stumbled upon this absolute gem of a restaurant in Niagara-On-The-Lake. We were fortunate to be able to get reservations for dinner and this place was one of the best meals we had during our visit to NOTL.
4 course prix fixe with about 3-4 different choices for each course (including dessert) and there were no misses. The salmon crudo is a must-order, no negotiation. The chicken liver parfait is a good choice for pate fans. Both the scallops and pork belly were cooked to perfection with vegetable and sauce/purée pairings that were spot on. For the mains we ordered the agnolotti- perfectly cooked

Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, drinks, the service and overall experience! We were greeted by Mr. Treadwell as we entered and our table wasn’t quite ready. He made us comfortable and got us some Prosecco while we waited. Once we got in, the service was terrific. The food was delicious and the sommelier helped us in pairing wine with our food. Great experience, will be back!

We've had winemaker dinners here but this was our first regular meal and our lunch was fantastic. My wife and I shared the mussels with fennel pollen which was delicious, especially the rosemary bread. For the main my wife had the lobster club and I had the tomato braised Lamb Shank. Both were mouthwatering and tasteful. For dessert we had the lemon poppy seed cake and the chocolate marquise. Both were great and not too big.

Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great night out. The Prefix menu with the sommelier wine pairings is a wonderful experience. My wife and I learned some great wine pairing tips that we look forward to trying when we host our next dinner.

Pick from a set menu where every dish is made with quality ingredients, nicely plated, and tastes delicious. The sommelier suggested unexpected pairings with every course which made it fun and exciting. Although our server was a tad pretentious, our dining experience was pleasant and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food here is fabulous. I have been cooking professionally for over 15 years and I as my wife tells me it can make me rather picky. The chefs executed everything very well, the wine pairing were matched with thought and were very enjoyable and our server was just attentive enough to make everything flow and arrive on time, but not be overwhelming. Unfortunately my pictures are not the best as I was obviously focused on other things.
Prices were reasonable considering the location and quantity of food.

The best high end dining experience ever! The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious! I had trouble deciding on the first course ans our server asked if he could choose for me, and he chose amazingly well! Everything was uniquely prepared, and flavourful. I also had a sommelier wine pairing with each course that completely leveled up our dinner. A fantastic first anniversary celebrated! Highly recommend!!
