I thought it was a very good restaurant all around, the first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant is, almost looked brand new. Food was very good too and staff were friendly. I liked the options on the menu and it was difficult to choose because it all seems great! I had the edamame, two hand rolls, toro shashimi, and LA galbi. Food came out fast and presentation was great. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I feel like the galbi could had had a better crust. It was seared ok on one side but looked almost steamed on the other. Good flavor but for the price, it needs

This is the best place you can try to eat the REAL Korean cuisins. On the way to road trip, I ordered the spicy tofu soup with extra spicy. It was amazing and fantastic to spicy lovers like me. Try to ask to the super nice staffs when you order the food. " extra spicy plz."

My wife and I enjoyed a bunch of different rolls including their Dynamite, Eel, and California rolls. All of which were prepared well, and had great presentation.
Service was great, and the rolls were prepared in a timely manner.
The location also has sufficient parking in front of the establishment for those of you who are concerned with where to park your vehicle.

Highly recommended! It's not easy looking for fresh sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine in Canmore and Banff and this place did not disappoint. The sushi was delicious and the bento boxes were a good portion with a little bit of everything - place was clean and great customer service!

We ordered sushi and soup here. Soup is surprisingly tasty. Even we went there by last call, and a couple of tables need to be served, they served us on time and we didn’t wait long for food. Worth to try!

The environment is lovely, bathrooms are clean and the sushi is great. Staff are friendly too.
The plot twist is the teriyaki... alarmingly reminiscent of Swiss Chalet chicken gravy. This is your fair warning— it’s not ACTUALLY teriyaki.
Everything else is great!!

Tempura was very nice. The rolls we're well balanced and we really enjoyed the care that went into preparation as well as the quality of the ingredients and the overall flavors. A little pricey, nonetheless.

Visited after my daughter and her partner said they found "the" place for sushi in the Valley. Firstly, friendly staff who made sure we were well taken care of. The prices are typical for a tourist town, the portions, presentation and quality were the best I have come across in years! I love my sushi, and in my own hometown I have an abundance of sushi restaurants...and I wish Mii would open a location here at home! Thank you for an incredible meal. Next time Im in town I will try the Korean side of the menu.

By far my favourite Korean/Japanese restaurant in Canmore. The owner and staff are really nice and I enjoy talking with them every time I dine there. My favourite is the assorted sashimi, assorted tempura and seaweed salad. My daughter's family and I always look forward to a lunch or dinner there. I have been going there ever since it opened. The restaurant is clean and has an ambience that makes you feel quite at home and relaxed. You won't be disappointed...their selection of sushi rolls is excellent.

Sushi there was great, but the soup (ramen) was horrible as some reviews. The thing makes we regret when came there is the service, the waitress (little girl with pink hair) was not friendly when we had asked for some bows to share the ramen shop, we know that soup just for one person but we just wanna see how is it taste as bad as review or not (it's horrible). Well, It was the first time we have been there and it also must be the last time we go there too. 3 stars for food and 2 stars for service.

Decent food that is overpriced.

Read the reviews here and thought this might be a decent option for Asian food. We ordered Teriyaki Chicken and a big bowl of Ramen. The Teriyaki Chicken was just terrible and tastes nothing like the real thing. The ramen had good taste but is way, way overpriced (almost $60 Canadian).

Overall, I do not recommend this location if you want genuine Korean/Japanese food. Service is not good at all.

Ordered sashimi dinner box, fish quality is good, but not the tempura/chicken teriyaki. Spicy tofu soup used unfresh seafood and spiced way too hot (assuming to smear the low quality ingredients). Ramen was literally instant ramen noodle you can get at T&T (albeit Japanese one).

Now at the price of $21-24 per meal, hard to justify the value. Buyers beware.

Terrible customer service. Waited over 1 hour for our food. Then she charged us for something we didnt order and when we told her, she was condescending and still claimed she gave us that meal.... they also gave my cousin the wrong roll and when confronted, the waitress just said "o sorry." She never even made an attempt to try to correct the situation and get him the correct roll. They looked super understaffed but the waitress said they were not and it is normally like this. If this is normal, that is sad. Management needs to hire more people so people arent waiting over 1 hour to get

Solid international find in Canmore. Really enjoyed the stone bowl bibimbap and spicy tofu soup. It was legitimate authentic Korean food. The French speaking waitress was very kind and did a great job too! My only hesitation is that this place is a little pricey... but it is a resort town.

Probably our best meal on our trip from Vancouver to Calgary. Everything is impeccably clean. Food is really tasty and fresh! Great service. We got shrimp tempura, Mii House roll, Burning roll and chicken Karagi ( the only thing that was nothing special). If you crave sushi - this is the place!

Fine if you are needing warm comfort food. Don't get the spicy tuna. The fish tasted off. I didn't get sick though, so no harm, no foul. The ramen broth, while not offensive at all, was not like good ramen. But it had a reasonably nice flavor. I had the miso beef. My girl had the tonkatsu beef. She was disappointed that there were no thin slices of pork. I missed the soft egg. The vegetable in the ramen was a broccoli floret. That was odd and did not complement the dish.

The beef was chopped and had a sweet quality to it. Perhaps it was Korean. It was quite unexpected in ramen.

We stopped into this restaurant on our way to Banff. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy and waited a few minutes before we were greeted and seated. There was a sign at the front door to please wait to be seated. The waitress and manager warned us that the food would be half an hour and if it would be okay, we waited only fifteen minutes for our food and I must say it was delicious! The waitress was quite busy so I can't fault her on her service as we had to wait a little bit on our bill. If you are looking for some delicious sushi, udon or delicious Korean bbq this is your stop!

We are so pleased with this place. The salmon, tuna and amaebi nijiri were great. They were super busy (probably because they are such a tasty restaurant) so our service was lacking at first... but they slowed down and the service was great.
We ordered the veggie tempura and beef hot pot. It was amazingly flavorful and hearty. Its perfect for the cold winter months. Soup is great for the soul, so are the mountains. Enjoy.

I'm from the Vancouver area, and I was hesitant about the freshness of the sushi.
The fish was fresh and all the food was tasty. Our Korean student was very happy with the Korean dishes and pleased to have a taste of home.

Best meal we had on our Banff-Jasper-Canmore trip!! Let me start by stating that I am from Toronto and there are a LOT of Korean cuisines to compare to. This is hands down one of the best Korean food I've had, even compared to Toronto. We tried the stone I will definitely come back next time, even if I have to drive an extra few hours.

The hot pot is so nice and hearty packed with delicious ingredients!!! Exactly what we needed after a long day trip.
