I'm not sure what happened to the items I bought but everything had a disgusting fish tank aftertaste? I bought meringues and an apple strudel and they were both gross. My only guess is that maybe the meringue I bought was bad and it being in the box infected the strudel too? Had to throw it all out.

In the post pandemic world, Nicols has truly prevailed. They have always been fabulous but for Mother's Day, they went above and beyond. We ordered tea service to go and it was all fabulous. The quiche was divine. It was easy to pickup, it was all wrapped up, and easy to set up at home myself. My mother loved it! Thank you Nicol!

Found this place on the same day as my horrible doctor's visit. Was just awful to walk into. Woodbridge needs better bakeries with better customer service. The people just didn't care about you as soon as you walked in. I got confused by the reviews on Yelp and what I had actually experienced. Cakes had tasted plain and the people aren't very nice. I'm surprised at the five stars given. I think the products are over-priced and the croissants are tasteless. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I accidently, found Nicol's on Weston Rd & Crestmount, (just north of Langstaff). I did one of those quick pull in's because I saw the pastry shop sign. Hidden treasure. It is so pretty inside, I thought I was in heaven as soon as I saw the display of deserts and the sweet aroma. Customer service was great, friendly and courteous. This is a tough business and these people work hard. I ordered a red velvet cake for my son's birthday, (great hit even thou we love chocolate the red velvet cake was gone in 2 days). I made the mistake of ordering a slice of the Pistachio cake

Friendly service and a well stocked pastry case. I was pleasantly surprised to see a seasonal offering, in the form of a pumpkin tart too!
Being located in Woodbridge, and closely situated to some rather large homes, I expected more from the latte I ordered to go. Milk when heated to much will burn, and today's barista almost took it there. The result a beverage to hot to drink for nearly 20 minutes. I recommend this shop begin using a thermometer ASAP. Again, Woodbridge, Italians, espresso - surely I am not expecting too much.

But big stores have done so much worse and we still go through them daily...
Her shop is $1.75 vs 2.50 at lavish for mini cups
Her velvet wasnt good and her vanilla's werent as good as lavish, but her chocolate base ones were yummy.
If you like vanilla base go to lavish if you like chocolate come here

Happened across this not so little spot whilst in search of a coffee before an early morning meeting and not wanting to go to yet another Starbucks (plus I also had a sweet craving) I entered this place with cautious optimism.
POW! The interior of this place hits you in the face like when your little sister smacks you in the face with her Barbie Corvette. Shiny pearl white fixtures and display cases show off row upon row of delectable sweet pastries and baked goods and are accented only by the splashes of pink across this space. It looks like a place where "the girls" could get together
