The Toronto Healing Arts Centre provides a relaxed, cozy, professional atmosphere for psychotherapy and many other healing services. In the spring of 1983, the Toronto Healing Arts Centre was founded by Dr. Nicholas Ashfield with the vision of creating a permanent home for healing services with a warm, cozy, professional atmosphere.
We started with 8 treatment rooms and three practitioners. Many of our early practitioners were pioneers in the field of alternative therapies. Today, THAC has grown to include over 30 office spaces, a classroom and over 150 independent therapists. Recently, we celebrated 36 years. We honour the many therapists who have answered an inner calling to be of service.

The isolation tanks are only dark with your eyes shut and far too small for couples despite being advertised as suitable for two people.
The entire time we were constantly either floating into each other or pressed up against the side of the tank which totally destroyed the "sensory deprivation" effect
That, combined with the fact it was light enough to see around kinda ruined it.
If the tanks were large enough to hold two people and actually dark it might be a different experience, otherwise your basically floating in a public bath in a gloomy coffin....hardly worth $140

Very unique and comfortable treatment space with many holistic practitioners. Its a large home converted into many treatment spaces, so its no wonder I feel at home when I'm there, and so do my clients. Wooden furniture, gorgeous brick in many rooms. Right on the subway line so clients can access me easily. There is no receptionist, which allows for me to be the only person my clients deal with when they come in.
