Pine Grove Resort (Formerly Cushnies Camp) was purchased in 1971 by Carol & Bill Chambers. After searching for a private cottage, they came across a listing for Cushnies camp in a real estate ad & decided to check it out. On the first trip up to see the camp, the roads were so rough that it ruined the exhaust system on their car.

Sept. 19 to 26. Amazing!!! From the time my wife and I arrived we could feel the calm and peacefulness of being in nature. The cabins were way more than accommodating with a wood burning stove and plumbing. The view over Pickerel River was stunning.
Boats were available to rent for fishing or just touring the river. While fishing off the dock at the cottage I caught a small mouth bass, and, I have a fish story about the large Pickerel that got away.
The whole week was exactly what we needed and I would very much recommend a stay at Pine Grove Resort.

Very friendly family owned and operated! I have very fond memories going to Pine Grove as a kid (a number of years ago LOL), this year was my first time back as an adult. It did not disappoint! Everything was as I remembered it; peaceful, maticulasly clean, well maintained with updates that still keep with the feel of the land. Pine Grove has a piece of my heart and we will definitely be going back.
Their website has lots of information so you know exactly what to expect and they have a variety of options to fit just about anyone's wishes!

I have been going to Pine Grove since I was 7 years old... It started with my parents taking us there for a summer vacation for 2 weeks and has now grown into 3 generations of our family going there. It is the best family vacation spot I have been to. Bill, Carol and Hilary are wonderful hosts and Pine Grove will always hold a special place in my heart for more than one reason! Pine Grove is a unique spot that you either love it along with the wildlife, fishing, hiking and water sports. It is remote if but you enjoy the getting away from most things you will fall in love with it like our family
