Leah has had a passion for real estate since a very young age and was fortunate to be able to buy her first property at 22. Olivia has a strong education background holding multiple degrees in Economics and Finance. She began her career in the banking world. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Sheldon moved to Calgary with his wife to raise their young family several years ago.
Many mortgage holders don't know what they don't know when it comes to their mortgage-but we do. Not all mortgages are created equal, and the biggest differences are often hidden in a contract's terms. We founded Mortgage Connection on the principle that we, a team of experts, could make mortgage financing simpler and more accessible for Canadians.
Documents and Information is requested from you via email, with an outline of timeline and an approximation of costs that can be expected for your commercial mortgage request. Due diligence reports are ordered (if not available already), and lender application fees (approximation outlined in step 2) are paid.
Whether buying your first home, upgrading or downsizing it is a big decision, and it should be an exciting time in your life. We are here to make sure the buying process goes as simply and smoothly as possible. Mortgage Connection's team is committed to making your home buying experience a positive one.

We have used Mitch on several occasions on our mortgage application. The service and advice he has provided to us was informative and helpful. We worked with Colin as our Mortgage Broker and he was absolutely fantastic! And he’s got a great sense of humour to boot!! Colin took the time to explain how the banks look at credit and income and this was so important when it came to planning to get a mortgage. I initially reached out to Colin a few months before we had even found a house to buy and despite not being ready when I reached out to him, it was through his advice and planning that after a few months were able to get the perfect house to fit our family! Mitch and Jordan have been such a great help to my wife and I during all processes to do with our mortgage. Right from originally getting our mortgage and now to helping us renew. As a self employed person for a mere 4 years the hope of getting a mortgageI was just a dream or next to nil...most banks and mortgage specialists need you to jump hoops or put down a ridiculous down payment because of your self employed status.
But... not until I went to Mortgage Connection !

Joe and Amy we're incredibly helpful and instrumental in me turning my existing property into a rental and purchasing a second property. I've used MCI for about 6 years now on 2 house mortgages, an investment condo, and at least one re-finance, dealing exclusively with Joe. All of my interactions with MCI have been professional, friendly, and attentive. He is quick to reply to any questions I have had and gives impartial advice regarding the different mortgage needs I've had with our house(s) vs. investment property.
Joe is the only mortgage broker I've used, so my experience is limited to him, but I can't imagine what more you would want out of a broker. Though I have recently moved to BC, he still helped us

Excellent! My wife and I have used MCI since 2006 for both our home mortgage and our investment mortgages (investment mortgages require some advanced knowledge which MCI has). MCI goes the extra mile and continues to support you after your mortgage documents have been signed. This is important to note since mortgage brokers get paid on commission and only on a new mortgage. MCI has helped us through mortgage renewals where they do not get paid, many years after they have been paid the commission.
