Recently bought a car that was safetied here and started having major problems right away and it didn't make sense to me because the car passed the safety. I got the car re-inspected elsewhere and was told I needed the bands on the transmission fixed, I had an exhaust leak, ball joint needed replacing, front diff needed replacing. total cost to fix a car I just bought was over $3000 and I was unable to drive it for 2 months. I called the shop after driving 3000k more than when the car was safetied and they told me "if it was there at the time we would have not passed the safety".
