Florence has been a registered dental hygienist since 2007. She graduated from University of Toronto with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology and later completed the dental hygiene program at Durham College. She joined Dr. Hu's dental practice soon after graduating and has been working since with Dr. Hu and Dr. Lee to create beautiful and healthy smiles for clients of all ages.

Dr. Paul Hu has been providing general dentistry for over 25 years in the GTA. He received his Dental Degree from the University of Calcutta (India) in 1983. After immigrating to Canada in 1985, he passes the Canadian Qualifying Exam (NDEB) and obtained his licence to practice Dentistry in Canada in 1988.
All patients need to register with our front desk staffs before they are seen by our doctors or hygienist. In order to minimize the wait time in offices, we will try to get the above done by phone so that our patients comes to acknowledge and sign the forms. All patients need to call office upon arrival and our staff will inform you when it is time to step inside our offices.
The focus of our offices have always been to provide comprehensive dental care to the entire family members. Each person needs different dental services based on their needs. Therefore a complete check-up of new patients is vital to establish a baseline and determine whether they need dental services for their oral disease or defects.
Gum disease is one of the most common oral problems in our mature population. Gum disease is infection of the gums caused by plaque and tartar build-up around our natural teeth. Gingivitis: It is a condition of infection of the gums surrounding the natural teeth. It is an easily treatable stage of gum disease and it can be recognised by light bleeding especially when brushing of teeth, mild redness and swelling of the gums.
As a preventive measure against tooth decay in newly erupted permanent molar teeth. Dental sealants are great for sealing the grooves and pits on the chewing surface of your permanent molar teeth. These surface irregularities that the brush bristles can't reached are covered by a tooth-coloured material coating to save your teeth from future decay or caries.
