I had a "check engine" light come on, and the temperature gauge spiked to maximum for about 1-2 seconds. When I phoned to make an appointment I knew I had the right place to go to. Lady answering very pleasant and professional - excellent phone manner!
When I arrived for my appointment it turned out there was a delay with a previous vehicle. They were apologetic but not a problem for me. The mechanics did an excellent job and took the time to explain what they believed the problem was and the steps to fix the issue.

I am so glad I brought my classic car to Ian's Auto for servicing! I knew going in this would be a difficult repair. Professional mechanics were very informative. The completed work was impressive. My car was sanitized prior to pick up. The new owner is obviously conscience of customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend them for auto service needs. They also provided guidance on other specialty repairs required. Keep up the good work !

I took my car here to get splash guards put on. The mechanic was honest and offered a very reasonable price for this service. When the splash guards didn't fit because Subaru sold me the wrong ones, they were honest about the fact that they didn't fit. They also discounted the service as they weren't able to put them on. They even drove me to do an errand during my service!! Great customer service, nice and honest staff. Would highly recommend Ian's.

We went to Ian's auto shop to get a pre-sale check on our dodge caravan. We felt welcome from the first minute we stepped into the shop. The staff and Ian are super friendly and he knows what he is doing. A little about us, we were two girls with absolutely no knowledge about cars and he told us everything we needed to know. There were a few things that needed to be done but he also told us it's not urgent and we would be fine for a while - any other auto repair shop would have told us that it needs to be fixed right away. Thank you Ian for your honesty you definitely won three new customers

Fantastic service. Went to another mechanic shop where I was quoted $1200 worth of repairs (both front wheel bearings supposedly needed replacing, serpentine belt, & front brake pads), came to Ian's and they checked everything out and ended up costing less than $400. In fact, the only thing that needed replacing was one set of wheel bearings. Ian went above and beyond and explained everything to me, someone who knows very little about cars. Highly recommend and won't be getting my car serviced anywhere else!
Also, Eco Chico the cockatoo was hilarious and an adorable bonus.

I took my 2005 Infinity FX into Ian's to locate an issue with the vehicle vibrating at higher speeds. After recently having service completed at the dealership on another problem and charged an exorbitant price, I set out using Yelp to help find a mechanic in the area that maybe a bit more reasonable. From the time that I made the initial appointment with Janice to get the car in, to where Ian handed me back the keys to tell me the car was good to go, the service was excellent.

I found this one place on yelp and they were absolutely great. my car kept stalling and came here because the reviews were great and i was very close by snd kinda stuck... and now i know why they had so many great reviews. Even though they were very busy they checked my car out and didnt charge me. the catillac converter was plugged up and they suggested i take it down the road to a friends muffler shop. they could have overcharged me for a part i didnt nee and i wouldnt have known any different, but instead they called ahead to the muffler guy they knew down the road because it would be cheaper

I've heard alot of good things from the reviews below, problem is I can't confirm the quality of service as I actually have yet to have my vehicle in for service due to how busy they are. So I'll give them a 5* based on my initial contact with Janet and their customer service. She offers great customer service, seems genuine and is helpful.
When my vehicle does get repaired, I'll update and revise my comments accordingly.

I'm happy to be a returning customer.
My car itself was working as fine for the areas that they repaired (breaks). It's a 1998 Honda CRV so you can only expect so much.
We took it in for servicing again (engine) and also my partner's 2005 Chevy Silverado. The prices were again fair. They weren't exactly as quoted, in fact they were LESS THAN QUOTED. I wouldn't expect that to be always the case as maybe sometimes there would be surprises to the mechanics after they start taking things apart. I've been looking for an honest, friendly and efficient mechanic for a long time. I went by other YELP reviews and was not disappointed. I came a few months ago with a problem in my car - Ian and crew checked it out and said it wasn't a "dire" problem that needed to be fixed. They told me what it was and gave me the option. THey even topped up the oil in my car and sent me on my way - no charge. This week I took my car in b/c of other problems and they once again just diagnosed it and left it to me as to whether I wanted to pay for repairs (as it wasn't going to interfere

You're greeted at Ian's by a very friendly woman (i forget her name) I asked for both front wheel bearings to be replaced, was called 10 minutes later with them saying I really only needed to replace one. I asked for them to replace my belts, (car is a high mile'r so I figured it could use it) I was told no need no cracks. I guess you have to beg for these folks to take your money. Lets you go in and take a look, will show you the damaged parts, the other mechanics are friendly and look like they enjoy what they're doing, or like where the work. Refreshing to find both

Great mechanic. fellow Z car enthusiast, very knowledgeable. Fair prices and quick service, tells you when to bring ur car in and the job would be done in a timely fashion. Nothing like other mechanics that tells you to bring in ur car anytime and keeps your car there for days without working on it. Very friendly.
