I was having a hard time getting my insurance policy issued and transferring my insurance over to another car. Diyana Yang was SO helpful and quick to solving my problems in a single phone call, when another lady I was working with told me it would take a couple weeks to get sorted. I spoke with Dyiana to renew our auto and tenant policy, I wasn't sure about confirming the quote at first because I wanted to ask around for other offers too, but it find out that she gave me a great deal. she was so clear and professional and provided an excellent customer service.

I’ve been dealing with Sharp Insurance in Calgary for 8 or 9 years now and I always compare prices as I insure several vehicles. Not only have I ever found a cheaper price but anybody I’ve talked to has treated me with respect and familiarity like I was really important to them as a customer. They got back to me immediately and gave me absolutely no reason to leave them. Bravo Sharp! No wonder you’re ahead of the class.

I was with Sharp for my auto & home insurance for about 5 or so years. Beginning of this year, I contact them about removing my auto insurance from the shared policy I had with my ex-partner. Due to my policy renewal date being in August 2021, the rep told me that it would be best to wait until renewal and I could then remove myself and get my own policy. I went along that and waited.

Ok for a few years and did help me get through some situations that my fault, as well as not.
The premiums I was paying after an at fault accident were ridiculous. After my car being written off when I wasn't even in the vehicle they wouldn't offer me the same level of insurance because of their risk matrix. I get it, but its not fair ar all. What's the point of paying insurance if they can't even help... ... ...
Also, literally impossible to get through on the phone, unless you have 3 hours to wait as caller number 16.........

I was working with Sharp Insurance on behalf of a customer at work today. (I do Finance and Insurance for a local Lethbridge dealership)
I was on hold and told I was the 15th caller. Someone finally answered the phone after 1hour and 18 minutes. That was just to get a "hi thanks for calling Sharp Insurance, how may I help you?"
I have to say even the mutual customer of ours was like "yeah I know". It's interesting that it took that long for someone to acknowledge me and the reason for my call. Could you imagine if I had the wrong number..
I wouldn't personally recommend this brokerage to anyone

Rahwa Habtenkiel. The only person who was able to help me and guide me about the question I had. she was very professional and understanding. when you wanna buy insurance or pay, they connect you right away but if you have to cancel, then you have to hold for hours, leave few voicemails and still you don't get it through. I got lucky and got… Rahwa Habtenkiel on the phone after being jumped from one department to another and getting no response from voicemails, she made sure I was helped and satisfied. I wouldn't recommend this insurance but I wanted to appreciate the help I got from Rahwa

I'm not sure I would recommend this company to somebody looking for a new insurance policy.
I got both tenant's insurance and car insurance with them. Both times, the brokers answered my quote requests rapidly, and within a few days I had my insurance all set up. They answered all my questions and were polite and professional.
Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Their customer care for existing clients has been terrible. The credit card I was using for my insurance payments expired, so I needed to give them my new info. It took over 3 weeks to be able to speak with somebody and get this

The agents at Sharp are very courteous and professional, and the prices are the lowest that I was able to find in Calgary (by a few hundred dollars annually for auto insurance).
However, this company is the worst that I have ever experienced for wait times. The "recruiting" agents that set up your initial policy are incredibly responsive, but after that you have to either email them or contact their call centre to adjust your plan or to obtain other assistance. If you call the hotline, expect to spend over an hour in the wait line, easily.
Overall, Sharp is a lukewarm experience. I'd gladly pay

Was super disappointed with Sharp Insurance. Have been a customer for years but have found they've been nearly impossible to connect with lately. Hold times are atrocious (2 hours and 51 minutes today) and they don't reply to emails even though my policy says to connect by emailing their info@sharpinsurance.com email address. I've dealt with an… assortment of different brokers from their office in the last two months due to a claim and have been highly disappointed. Been with Sharp for about 5 years, Allstate, TD and Belair all had cheaper prices then what I was currently paying. Plus you can expect to wait on hold for 4-5 hours if you're an existing client. Contacting them through the app also will take about a week to get back to you. You can call as a new customer and speak to someone almost immediately but they will not assist current customers on this line. We went with Sharp after getting a recommendation from the dealership we bought our vehicle from a few years ago. Since being with them, it has never been a priority to provide good customer service.
We have consistently waited hours for callbacks, and we still don't have correct names on our pink slips due to them screwing up the paperwork. It got to the point where we gave up trying to rectify them.
Now we're getting bent over on our premium, and Sharp offered a switch at a much better premium - only to tell us ON THE DAY OF OUR RENEWAL, after talking with them about it for MONTHS

Years ago I was refereed to a small Rogers Insurance brokers office by my brother in law.
The woman who worked at that office was a wizard and treated me and my business with value and respect.
When I moved unfortunately I had to change offices and that is when thing began to go downhill.
At one time I realized I had driven nearly an entire year without insurance.

I had a chance to meet with Sherif & Tanya from Sharp Insurance and man I was impressed. I don't think I've seen an insurance company who actually "gets" the benefits of social media like they do. The engagement they have with their clients is amazing, and with their innovative app they are definitely on the cutting edge of the insurance industry. I've been charged countless times for insurance I never received. Before my insurance started it was cancelled by this company, which I was only notified of after two weeks of driving. I then got different insurance, and then they started it up again and charged me more than we had originally agreed on without telling me. Never using them again and would suggest others also don't. Giant hassle and cost.
