Working with Melisia was amazing. As a new motorcycle rider, I was struggling to find insurance, even with the company I had been with for years. Melisia was knowledgeable and efficient, and got me coverage within a couple of hours. She even made sure I received my pink card before she left for the day. I can’t recommend her enough!

I have been dealing with Blue Circle in Calgary for a number of years. Rates always seem to be competitive. If I were to 'knock' anything it would be turnover (or rebalancing of work) in that you don't seem to maintain the same agent overtime, but that can be understandable.
On balance though I have to say they have been great. Just putting together some boat insurance for the first time ever and dealt with Vanessa. She's been prompt, informative, communicative, etc...
Finding good customer service is difficult nowadays and you really have to applaud those companies getting it right.

I had been a client of Blue Circle for many years now. I recently contacted my broker by phone to set up Insurance for my new home and the broker refused to help me unless I filled out a very unprofessional looking questionnaire regarding the details of the home. Unfortunately I do not have a printer and the broker refused to answer or return my phone calls so I informed the broker that I used the online quote tool to fill in the answers to provide the info for the new home. The broker still refused to help me even though I have provided all of the necessary information and still will not return

I have been with Blue Circle for over 10+ years and the service has gotten so bad I have been forced to move on to another company. They do not return calls and were unable to answer basic policy questions when I did finally get ahold of my broker. Your insurance broker is supposed to work for you the client not the insurance company. It was obvious my broker was working for the insurance company not me.

I recently switched brokers to Blue Circle for my auto, Sara made the switch easy and painless. Few months later I switched my home insurance also, not only did Sara get my a better price she also got my better coverage!!
Figured I should make the switch for my business insurance also, spoke with Sara about it and she referred me to Nicole. I have been paying almost double what Nicole was able to get me! I should have made the switch sooner!
Their service was excellent!!

Anna Stakenvicius in the Finace department at 6° finance has canceled my vehicle insurance without my knowledge leaving me driving around with children under the age of 10 in the vehicle. I could have been fined due to her non-communication skills. Anna claimed she has tried to reach me and that in her words “Other than driving to your home and… knocking on your door, I do not know what you expect from us.” I have not received the point of contact she claims to have made and now she has damaged my driving record. I have been a loyal customer of 7-8 years with Blue Circle, and never had any issues until now. Yes, their rates were higher than most, but they used to treat me quite well. I have never missed a payment for this in my entire time with Blue Circle (7-8 years), until this month when i was dealing with an issue with my bank. By complete accident the payment was returned to my account, on Dec 23rd. On Jan 2 i receive a letter stating my insurance will be cancelled in a matter of a couple days. I paid the balance due right away after finding out (since it is my fault), but not very happy with the way

Dear Readers: I recently posted a very scathing and negative review of Blue Circle and Aviva Insurance. I had been hit by a negligent driver in December who took off after hitting my new BMW, lied, avoided reporting which delayed and basically was not a credible or reliable source. I was very frustrated with Aviva Insurance and Blue Circle… because of the delays and the fact that I seemed to have to defend myself against a person of questionable morality (my opinion). I reacted badly with Blue Circle and Aviva and posted a nasty review of both on Facebook. Despite my rude treatment of both

Nicole Thompson ROCKS!! My other insurance company jacked my prices this year... because they could. My broker said they couldn't find anyone willing to take me on and that was the best he could do. This pushed me to go looking for another broker. I remembered BlueCircle Insurance because of a group motorcycle ride they put on where my husband and… I won our meal in a draw. When people take time out of their own schedules to offer these events, it adds a personal touch. They are involved in community and support great causes.
