Prairie Architects Inc. is organized on a teamwork model where collective decision-making is central to the operation of the firm. Rather than a hierarchical organization, where the more senior people do the creative work and the junior staff is consigned to the details, we have organized our company to maximize new ideas and creativity by everyone on the design team thus enhancing the quality of the work for the owner.
In the end, each team member has individual responsibilities to produce the final design, but it is our experience that this process of teamwork provides a more coordinated and consistently built product. In order to maintain this teamwork model, our firm is a group of professionals ranging from registered architects, architectural graduates, and interns, designers, and support staff.
