I had such an amazing experience with Terry and Shane while living at Del Morro apartments. They were always on top of things and always trying to make tenants as comfortable as possible. They'd also fix things so quickly and efficiently. Definitely I'm gonna miss their dedication and amazing work ethic. This is exactly how a property should be run.

Dont ever work for this company they wanted
the work done now and then 3 weeks later they finally cut me a check and lost it in the mail.. Now a month and half later there still trying to cancel the check and write a new one. I wonder how many weeks it will take their accountant to figure out how cancel a check and write a new one? It would take me about 5 min.. Never will i work for these cheap people again.

Unfortunately, I had a very horrible experience with Tara Hooge as our strata manager. As a member of the strata council, I was hopeful she would be the positive change our community needed. I was sadly mistaken. She allowed her personal relationships to impact her work and breached confidentiality on more than one occasion. She made decisions without clear direction from the council and was abrasive when challenged on it. It’s possible that the rest of Bayside is absolutely fabulous to work with, but you may want to reconsider working with Tara.

Edit: To the response by management - my name not matching up with your records is a pretty lack luster response to dismiss the issue on hand. My significant other is the tenant owner and has inquired with one of the strata manager, Charles Wong, with regards to a fire inspection. I will forward the email and response accordingly.
Edit 2: Sent a response to Mr. Regan, Vice President, who then has forwarded the complaint and issue to the strata council. Why would an issue be escalated to send a response to the Vice president - I do not know. But

Bayside took rent out of my account not authorized. I had already moved out of the building and signed off on a walk through. Gave my months notice they had plenty of time to remove me from the automated system. Can not get ahold of anybody. My account went into overdraft and was left with no money over the weekend. Not professional what so ever. Definitely not impressed.

I am having a super grateful experience with a Bayside Property worker whose name is Percy Lee. To clarify, I am not the property or strata owner, I am just the tenant. Beyond all those huge property or strata problems, Percy solved my tiny single problems patiently and earnestly. I got a one-time lock-up myself in my own apt, he showed up less in 10 mins to help me solved the awarded situations. I am getting so much impressed with his service, and I have to recommend this company!!! Hopefully, I could get cooperative with this responsible company for my own strata. 100% recommend!

Our 24 unit apartment building has had a very long standing relationship with Bayside. Over the years we have found them to be knowledgeable, reliable, conscientious, and caring. Any requests and/or issues are dealt with in a timely manner and their fees are fair/comparable. I would highly recommend them.

I have been dealing with Bayside for the past 7 or 8 years as Strata President of NW187 a 102 unit strata. I have found management to be extremely responsive to any issues we have had and while we did have one property manager who was not a "good fit", we were immediately provided with a replacement property manager. Tracy, our current property manager, is a treasure. She deals very promptly with items which come up a Council meetings, she circulates correspondence from owners promptly and communicates regularly with Council members. I have read a number of the review posts here and it appears

I've been dealing with many of the Bayside Property professionals for many years now; no one is perfect but as managers & companies go, I would not hesitate to recommend this property management company to any strata I work for. I work in the security industry and I've always found the managers I deal with to be very concerned for people's safety and security.

I applied for tenancy at one of their properties and was denied based on something I have been charged with and Bayside told me no because of criminal record. A charge is not a conviction and in Canada we are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Despite this factors I was still discriminated against and treated like I am guilty, when that has yet to be decided in court. I called Bayside and asked if I could explain the situation and if I could provide letters of reference from Professionals; and was told no. They did not contact any of my references or previous landlords, this company

This company deserves 0 stars, not 1. I'm not surprised to see that ALL the other reviews on here are 1 star at this point in time. Also, they're current google rating is 2.1 - that's not good.
Poor communication - they never call or write you back until you push the envelope. This is a common theme found in all reviews. They ignore requests and even talking with higher management yields to no phone calls. They don't care about you at all.
Constant errors and negligence - they've made too many serious errors that have cost a lot of money and they get away with it.

Bayside hired thugs (just guessing) to do external and internal painting, small repairs etc. within the building I live in, whom then threw a couple of weekend parties in an unoccupied suite, which I witnessed. They tried to evict renters on no other reason than that they lived in the building too long! One renter in my building ended up in court and winning a case when they tried to evict her! She was over 60 years old, wow such compassion for the elderly!! NOT!! The building manager was a sweet girl but the others were so uncaring, manipulative and doted on those who would never 'TELL

Worst property management company I've seen in my whole life. If you want to rent a place from this company or live in a property which is managed by Bayside, maybe you need to re-think. Regarding rental, prepare to pay 100's of $ for unfair claims they will find when your contract is over. And do not forget, you need to give them 1 month full notice even if your rental contract is fix term. My car was towed on my moving out date when I was loading it with fragile furniture and when I complained about it, the towing car driver just laughed at me and Bayside claimed they have not ordered

Absolutely incompetent management company. I put in my notice a few months ago because they were so awful. Talked to our prop. mgr. and she was chewing food on the phone while I was trying to voice a concern. They don't respond to complaints or concerns. My colleague lives in one of their buildings in New West and there is a major mouse infestation that the company won't address. I have actually seen mice running in the hallway and mouse droppings in her apt. even though she cleans it daily AND has a professional cleaner. STAY AWAY!!!

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Bayside. We were misled by A POOR BUSINESS SYSTEM!!!
We were in Vancouver for only two days to find an apartment. Found a lovely apartment in the area we wanted. Shared our situation and were told it's a 'first come first served' basis for securing the apartment. So, we immediately submitted our application. We were told none had been received yet. Fellow said we would hear back by 9:00 or so that evening, before we flew out. We found out the following day that someone else had put down a damage deposit on the unit
