Pedalhead Race Room is a performance cycling club based in Edmonton and a member of the Alberta Bicycle Association. We're present at many Alberta Cup mountain bike and cyclocross races to offer support and advice to our club members. No previous racing experience is required. With our rich racing and race promotion history, riders expect us to carry the best race-related products around!
Pedalhead's Wednesday Night Group Ride is a weekly mountain bike group ride that explores Edmonton's best singletrack trails. No membership is required -- we just ask that you consider us for your next purchase. After lots of thought and consideration, Wednesday Night group rides are currently cancelled for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Your local bike shop believes that service comes first. It's the reason we remember your name, and the reason we'd rather meet you in person than over the internet. Your local bike shop does not require you to buy a membership to be a customer. Your local bike shop lives and breathes bicycle culture.
Pedalhead Bicycle Works loves being involved in our community and supporting cycling-based charities and events! I went into the store June 25th 2021 at around 5:30 PM (30 minutes before closing) and I was surprised with the wonderful service I received from the lady at the front desk and the technician in the back. In about 15 minutes I got 2 new tires and when they offered to install them I couldn't resist for 12 dollars a tire. I will definitely go back there next time I need something for my bike.

Great customer service. I got discouraged going to United Cycle (basically a big box store now) so gave Pedalhead a try and glad I did. Chris took the time to talk with me about the products I was interested in. They are happy to help with my questions on stuff I bought even if it was over a year ago.

Been there a couple times now. I'm the first to admit I know very little about bikes. So far they've taken the time to explain things, gave me information to take home and study before making a purchase. I've never felt pressured by anyone here or steered onto something that isn't the best option for me.

I went in to Pedalhead on the recommendation of a friend to look into fixing my very old road bike. I met with Chris and Lindsey who were both very helpful. I ended up flipping back and forth between a bike that was available in the shop and fixing my old one when I finally decided on a new one that they didn't have in stock. I checked it out at another shop but ultimately, because of the excellent service at Pedalhead, I kindly asked if they would order me the one I wanted to go with. Although I'm sure I was not easy to deal with flip flopping for almost a week, everyone in the shop was nothing

Found ourselves unexpectedly in the bike market after my daughter's bike was stolen from her school bike rack.
I booked a morning to cruise the local bike shops in the Edmonton area in search of a replacement. The first place I stopped at was Pedalhead. As soon as I walked in the door I got the feeling that this was a place that embraced the cycling experience. The staff took their time bringing me up to speed on their product in a friendly, knowledgeable, yet non pretentious manor. What more can you ask of a bike shop!

The previous time I was in Pedalhead the experience was really nice. I was in and out in minutes got the bottom bracket for a friends bike I needed, staff was friendly and helpful. This time around incidentally I needed a bottom bracket for my bike. The parts guy was literally 6 feet away from me yet he had a sales guy walking back and forth between us. Like come on just talk to me yourself.. I am not that scary am I? I was told I would need to book an appointment to determine which bottom bracket my bike needs. I don’t need to do anything. I wonder why last time I was in the parts guy did a

Great bike shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
I was looking at buying a full suspension bike for 2+ years, went to several different shops and ended up buying it here and couldn't be happier. Their staff was very helpful in guiding me towards the perfect bike, their prices are fair and they have the best service package in town that comes free when you buy a bike from them! To top it all off, their group rides (also free) are a blast!

While looking for a new bike I visited most of the LBS in Edmonton. Pedal Heads had, by far, the best customer service and also the best price. Once I decided on a bike their mechanics setup the bike for me and did a post sale inspection. During this inspection the mechanic felt there was something wrong with the front suspension. Instead of trying to send me home with a defective product they fixed the issue and had me riding that day. They could of easily just ignored the problem and, being a relative rookie, I probably would not have noticed. Great service, knowledgeable staff and good prices

If you are in the market for a new bike stop in to Pedal Head. The staff is friendly and helpful without being pushy. They have a very realistic range of bikes from beginner right up to seasoned rider, as well as a wide selection of great cloths. Overall they are well price and have a fair selection definitely worth checking out!
