This place is a neighbourhood treasure. My partner and I have come here for years to get the sausage oricchiette... an incredible dish! Their pizzas are delicious, and I really enjoyed their Cacio e pepe verde (although my partner found it a tad salty). Lots of amazing choices on the menu at a reasonable price. Great place for dinner before a movie, or drinks afterwards. Lost one star as we've had some not great dishes. The spaghetti is not great. It would be helpful if they offered half size salad portions, as they are so big they are too much for even 2 people to share (and expensive). Overall

I would not recommend this place. They have OVERCHARGED ME THREE SEPARATE TIMES on my meal by charging me $23 instead of $16 (44% MARK UP!). The first two times, I thought the price was strangely high, but since I was doing takeout, I didn't bother to check. The last time, I dined in and asked for a menu to check the price before paying since the price was, again, strangely high. I pointed it out to the server who updated the price, but didn't seem surprised and didn't apologize (which makes me think it's a frequent occurence...as if three times wasn't enough).
I later e-mailed Novo about it,

The food quality and the service were very good. The staff were super friendly. I consider this place as a restaurant on a bit fancier side with smaller portion sizes but higher food quality. It’s definitely a good place for having a good meal before/after watching a movie next door. The tiramisu was delicious, too.

This is my go-to place for pizza in Vancouver. They make their pizza dough in house and only make it after you ordered it. Our favourite is the fungi pizza. We also like their burrata salad. They have good social distancing between tables and signs for masks. The bathroom is clean but you need to use the stairs to go down.

You can never go wrong with a little wine bar serving handmade pasta and wood fire pizzas. Last night’s dinner was fantastic, we shared a variety of specials, pasta & pizza! We walked home with HUGE smiles and happy bellies, and it’s all thanks to Chef Fontana & the great team at Novo. We’ll be back very soon!!!

We bought a Groupon for about $70/$80 or so which included a 5 course meal for two people. We went on a Monday night and were the only people in the place for dinnertime. We started with a meatball each and shared an antipasti board which included two slices of meat and a tiny piece of cheese. We were told we could order ANY pizza or pasta on the menu. For pastas, we ordered the rigatoni carbonara and the pappardelle ragu bolognese. Both were cooked to al dente and had nice sauces. For pizzas, we ordered the Prosciutto and Arugula and Chorizo Salami and Honey. We were able to finish half of each

Charming place to grab a wheel and a cocktail. Very tasty traditional neapolitan pizza, the crust was perfect, and the toppings were pleasant and well appointed with balance to really celebrate the flavor and aroma of each recipe. Light and lovely. We reccomend Novo for dates, chill business meetings with close associates, or a nice group of four to mingle and share a few pies. Don't be shy to ask for a side of chili oil and lemon oil for drizzling.
