As newly-minted vegans, we have been looking for the perfect pizza. We're done looking! The flavor combinations were sublime, and the crust is crispy without breaking your teeth. We tried the Superfunghi and the Red Pepper and sausage. I can honestly say I loved them both at least as much as the best non-vegan pizza I've had. We can't wait to try everything on the menu at Virtuous Pie. Virtuous, indeed!

The best vegan pizza/ possibly best overall pizza in Portland!
Our favorite was the carne asada with pineapple, that I hope they bring back soon! I was vehemently against pineapple on pizza until I tried this one; ‘twas life altering.
Nonetheless, all their different topping combinations are superb and delicious. Love trying the different seasonal pizzas they have.
The garlic knots are perfection, my partner will not let me order pizza from here unless we get the knots and the vegan ranch. She would down the ranch like water if she didn’t have enough self control.
Also, you cannot forget

The portions are very small for the price, but wow do they know how to make a vegan cheese. We got the Superfunghi and the Spicy Vodka a la Pasta, and the depth of flavors in them are incredible. Truly, truly one of the best vegan things I've eaten. Definitely the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Both were luke warm because we got it delivered so I can't even imagine how good it would have been fresh. We also got the Pumpkin Pie and Afternoon Tea ice cream. Both were sooo damn delicious as well, especially the Afternoon Tea. Wow!

I’m super surprised that there are so many rave reviews of this place. We had a very different experience (not unlike a lot of the other low-star reviews). My partner and I are local business owners and we know how hard it can be to run a business, especially now. So, I don’t take pride in posting unfavorable reviews. Alas, I’ll share our experience so you can make your own informed decision. The headline of this review would be “most expensive and worst tasting pizza ever”. The cost vs. disappointment ratio was over the top. We got 3, VERY SMALL (like, smaller than the pizzas pictured

In a city with heaps of amazing vegan options, Virtuous Pie has become willfully mediocre. Ordered a pizza, garlic knots and vodka pasta. Pasta came out cold ('watch out it's hot') in a hot skillet, sent it back came out very hot with no sauce, no flavor and woefully overcooked. inedible. I guess all the pasta dishes are cooked earlier, put in fridge, and added to a skillet to warm up. Garlic knots were OK, nothing to write home about. Pizza was soggy (go to Pyro's, much better, or Boxcar!). Such a shame since we went when they first opened and it was way better. Won't

This was amazing. Everything is vegan. The garlic bread knots were fresh and moist and the garlic ranch which is homemade was superb!
I had the homemade Mac and cheese. I couldn't tell the bacon and were all vegan as I'm not vegan but wanted to try this place. I'm so glad I did!
Amazing food. I can't wait to try their pizza.
The customer service was excellent. Great quality of food and portions! Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I are vegan and were looking for some good food traveling through Portland this past summer. We found Virtuous Pie on our way into town and the food was delicious and creative! We meant to try a different vegan restaurant as we were passing back through on our way home, but we loved it so much my daughter insisted we go back and try other pizzas. If you like pizza, this is a must stop! They also have other non-pizza dishes that sounded good too!

Had heard great things about this place and am looking forward to going back. We only stopped by for ice cream and homemade waffle cones this go round, but will definitely be back to try pizza, mac n cheese and other delicious goodies.
We were kindly greeted upon walking in! We gave the Marionberry and Stawberry & Cream a shot. They were good flavors. Felt a bit overpriced for ice cream but it was still worth it.
Looking forward to checking out additional menu items upon our return!

I'm impressed. I came here on whim to satisfy my pizza craving (though it's tough since my body rejects dairy) and this place came to SERVE. The building is in a shared space but the minimalist design and beautiful structure still catches the eye when walking up.
The menu is pretty extensive and inventive - I think the prices are a tad bit high for the serving size but this is a specialty vegan pizza place where even the cheese is made from scratch so one could argue that price point is fair!
I got The Forager and the crust was perfection. This cashew mozzarella was so good that I

We went back and tried the pizza again. This time I asked them what their two top selling pizzas were and ordered those. After my last review they offered to replace my pizza but i didnt bother and tried this on my own dime......it was a lot better. It was a margarita pizza and a garlic sauce based pizza with kale that was delicious. It was lunch time and they were busy which probably helped but I think the main thing is that the "pepperoni" doesn't work for me. I really think that I might have gotten a older pizza last time but this time was fresh and I would definitely go

When my friend and I had our flight delayed from Sac and we finally landed in PDX we already knew we were going straight to Virtuous Pie for some vegan pizza. This is what happens when two vegans from Sacramento land in Portland's wonderland of vegan foodie options. We indulge!
We made it there shortly before closing and ordered two pies (Super Funghi and Stranger Wings), garlic knots, and scoops of Salted Caramel & Chocolate Pretzel ice cream.
I've been to Virtuous Pie in Vancouver's Chinatown, but this was a first time for me at the Portland location. The pizza was good

This spot hits my cravings each time. The garlic knots are great for sharing between two people, one piece is gigantic but so so good. The seasonal menu always keeps you on your toes and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Their online portal is so easy and user friendly it makes ordering pick up or delivery hassle free.
Fun fact I didn't know: Once a week, Virtuous Pie donates any extra or unneeded food to Urban Gleaners to feed children and their families. I love establishments with such wholesome operating standards

Delicious and affordable vegan pizza! I love that they make their own vegan cheeses (no stick-to-your-mouth daiya here). We ordered delivery through door dash which was a bit pricey but the costs are lower if you pickup directly. We also loved the Mac and cheese (one of the best vegan macs I've had) and the garlic knots. My non-vegan boyfriend was impressed as well. We went with the classic Margherita and pepperoni pizzas and are looking forward to trying some of the specialty options next time. We'll definitely be back.

So my wife and I ordered a Forager pizza, and a buffalo wings pizza. We enjoy meat but we tried and decided to stay plant-based because we feel so good eating this way.
First I'm grateful that Virtuous Pie offers plant-based pizzas like these. Second, they are absolutely out of this world delicious! I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. In fact... I felt guilty because I was consuming cheese and vegetable proteins that tasted like dairy cheese and red meat, but it was "really" the nutritious plant alternatives.
They have dialed in these pizzas to perfection.

A bit overpriced for the size of the pie, but ya can't beat these fresh, vegan ingredients and the quality/creativity. The pizzas come out fast and the crusts are that perfect combo of crisped on bottom but chewy within. I couldn't believe it was all plant based protein, so I'm sure meat eaters would be satisfied here too!
"Superfunghi" - bit too much arugula for my taste and could've used a splash of lemon or vinegar for some tang to balance out the earthy flavors, but I loved the creamy ricotta and fresh shrooms.
"Sweet Pepper + Sausage" - the big winner

Swaggiest vegan pizza.
The garlic knots are a must get - truly orgasmic.
Mac n cheese was very rich, if you like a nutty Mac n cheese you'll love it.
My favorite pizza that we got was the sweet pepper + sausage - perfectly sweet and savory.
My boyfriends favorite was the Italian eggplant - "it was like s*x in my mouth"
We also got the ultraviolet pizza and i really enjoyed the pine nuts on there but unless you're really into pesto I'd skip on it. My bf and I are more red sauce people
Overall I'd definitely come back to this place if I was visiting Portland again

We had the sausage and pepper pizza it was delicious if a little greasy. The mac and cheese was to die for! The takeout service was quick and friendly. The garlic knots were almost amazing but a little doughy in the middle...maybe undercooked? I wish they had some outdoor seating to eat there. Or even limited indoor seating would be nice. The house made mozzarella was on point. I would recommend and try again some day.

While I wouldn't call myself a vegan, I am eating vegan for the month of january to try and change my relationship with food and disrupt some bad habits. But a couple of days ago one of those bad habits came a'knockin and I NEEDED PIZZA! Thankfully Virtuous Pie was there to help. And the TLDR? It was delicious!
The BF and I split two pies, both of which were so much more tasty than either of us had hoped for. My favorite of the two was the Street Corn, which comes with garlic paprika butter, charred corn, feta, cashew mozzarella, cilantro lime crema, fresh cilantro and lime. I know that
