Grumans has been serving the Calgary area delicious Jewish-inspired deli food since 2005. Started by Peter Fraiberg, and named after his mother's side of the family, he is now joined by his sister Gail at their new location in Britannia. Grumans is a true deli featuring lots of take-out foods such as knishes, latkes, verenikes, Montreal smoked meat, assorted soups, slow oven roasted beef brisket, cabbage rolls and much more.

Today I made a quick stop to Gruman's downtown location to pick up lunch. I ordered the Chicken Brest Club which comes with chargrilled herb chicken, applewood smoked chedder, bacon, tomato, lettuce and onion. On the side I tried the famous Montreal smoked meat poutine. All I can say is...Gruman's food is amazing! You can just tell all the ingredients are fresh and seasoned to perfection. I honestly can't wait to order this again...and again...and again.

I ordered Grumans catering for a breakfast function. They were responsive, organized and easy to deal with. The food was as ordered and delicious with any modifications that I requested taken into account. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend using Grumans for your next catered event.

My co-worker & I decided on Grumans deil today for lunch glad we did!
Nice air conditioning restaurant & my water glass was filled multiple times kudos to waitress.
It was +37° today in Calgary we could not of choose a better place to have lunch:)

If you are looking to get your deli fix, look no further than Grumans! A great selections of meats, sandwiches, deli sides (the kosher pickle is a fav), and breakfast options. Super friendly staff and management. Satisfying my Reuben craving, this place hit the spot! Loaded with juicy corned beef, kraut, melted cheese, and dressing. With latkas as my side, this did not disappoint. Great prices, flavour, and service!

FINALLY made it to Grumans and was not disappointed. Even though the place was packed to the rafters (people were lined up out the door), the service was terrific and the food came quickly and piping hot.
The kids loved the French Toast and my All Day Breakfast Burger was amazing. Don't forget to order the Deep Fried Pickles, they're amazing.
We will definitely be back.
