Childhood myopia, also known as near or short-sighted, can cause very serious eye diseases later in life. Offer your child a brighter future with myopia management. Myopia (nearsightedness) is reaching epidemic proportions. By 2050, half of the world's population is expected to have myopia.
That's worrying, as having myopia significantly raises the risk of developing sight-threatening eye diseases later in life, such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment and macular degeneration. The level of myopia a child has is directly correlated to their risk of eye disease - the higher the myopia, the greater the risk.

Vision isn't just about seeing well - it's about how we interpret and interact with the world visually. Effective vision comes down to the way the brain and eyes interact. Whether reading words on the board, catching a ball, or tying our shoelaces, we rely on our visual system to work properly in order to succeed in these and other tasks.
Vision Therapy is a doctor supervised program designed to improve the function of the visual system. Vision occurs in the brain where the input from the eyes combines with other sensory inputs from sounds, smells, touch, balance and posture. Vision therapy uses prisms, lenses, colour, partial occlusion, computers, virtual reality games and movement.

Drs. Michelle McKenzie & Vince Panzica have been my optometrists for 25+ years. Their practice is extremely well run, professional and their level of patient/client care is high quality. Along with their team, you feel welcome and cared for the second you walk through the door. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the Caledon and surrounding area.

Called the clinic for an emergency visit for my 14 year old daughter who had something in her eye that needed to be flushed. Clinic refused to see her as they have withdrawn services for patients otherwise covered by OHIP. Now faced with waiting hours in emerg. Shame on you for using patients as political pawns.

I visited Bolton Optometry for the first time recently and had an appointment with Dr. McKenzie. Wow - she was excellent! I never felt rushed, and she took time to thoughtfully answer all of my questions. She was very knowledgable and kind throughout. The ladies at the front were also lovely - such a friendly and inviting environment.

Friendly, helpful staff - especially during COVID. They made the process of booking an appointment easy and let me know everything in advance!
Doctors are very knowledgeable and tailored the examination to my personal concerns. They submit to my insurance which helps too! I didn't need to change my glasses, but my contact lenses were ordered same day and sent to my home within a week! Amazing!

Worst clinic I've been too. Bent the frame so far out of shape. I took a pic of them the day I tried then on out of display. To today when 2 times I've had to go back due to clarity of Lens. Complete diff shape. To the point I won't wear them. Stay away from this place. Seems like a training centre. Ruined a good pair of sunglasses. Deformed
