At our funeral home, we understand the importance of family. We believe in treating your family as we would our own. We are proud to be Kitchener-Waterloo's longest serving independently and family-owned funeral home (since 1946) in a profession where many of the funeral homes are owned by large corporations. No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.

I can not say enough good things about this Funeral home. They are full of compassion and understanding and helped us through the most difficult loss we have faced in some time. They respected our wishes went out of their way to help, listened to all our stories and made us feel surrounded by comfort and respect.

I am writing this review on behalf of my whole family. All I can say is that the level of professionalism, compassion and courtesy that Rob, John and the whole team had at Erb & Good was astounding. Funerals are sad events and things can be difficult at varying degrees for families, but all I can say is that my family felt comfortable during this unprecedented time, we felt supportive, and the whole process from beginning to end was smooth because of Rob and his team.
There isn’t enough kind words to say about Erb & Good. I would highly recommend them for your family during a tough time.

When my father passed this year, I had my first experience with a funeral home. The folks at Erb & Good were there for me and my family through the entire time, from cremation to interment. At every step they supported me by helping with the necessary decisions, managing the paperwork and organizing the parties involved along the way. I can't speak highly enough about the kind and thoughtful service they provided. In the end, I purchased one of their funeral packages so that my family will have the same great service when my time comes.

It is never an easy time in one's life however, it is definitely made easier when the facility is so caring and conscientious. Rob truly cares about what he does and it shows in the presentation, set up, and time put into making family's feel the most comfort possible in times of grief. It is a great feeling when you know your loved ones are treated as part of the Erb and Good family as well as yours. Incredibly caring, and everything one could want from a funeral home.

The regions best funeral home! I have attended and participated in 2 funerals here in the past month and I have to say the wonderful staff and warm atmosphere are second to none. We never felt rushed, everyone was well taken care of and because of that I experienced one of the best reception celebrations I have ever been to.

From the moment we contacted them to settling at the end, Greg and the team at Erb & Good couldn't have been more caring, accommodating, understanding and helpful. When we had family unexpectedly arriving late for the service, they delayed the start without question. The service was planned with very little settled in advance, and at no point did I feel as though we were being upsold on anything, or that what we were paying for the service was even of importance. Erb & Good was wonderful and sensitive when our family was in a difficult time. They were professional and respectful. We could not have asked for better people to take care of us. On top of that, when the cremation jewellery I ordered had a defect, Mark took care of contacting the dealer and having it replaced on my behalf.

It is never easy to have to go to a visitation or funeral of a friend, colleague, family member or loved one. At Erb & Good Funeral Home, the staff is so incredibly welcoming, understanding the uniqueness of every situation surrounding the loss of each life and sensitive to the diversity of how people handle grief. Over the years living in the K-W community, I have attended many services at various funeral homes. Somehow, I always feel good about having taken the time to pay my respects during a service or visitation held at Erb & Good. They have a way of making an otherwise difficult situation
