The most commonly known sapphires are Blue Sapphires. While they are found in various hues ranging from light pale blue to rich royal blue, the most sought after and prized colour is the vivid, velvety blue, in medium to medium-dark tones. For a sapphire to be called true blue, its secondary colours must not account for more than 15% of the stone's overall colour.
This step is unique, allowing Robert's clients to make changes and be part of the design process by visually seeing their piece before casting. Before the creation of digital software, goldsmiths created custom jewellery designs by hand-carving from wax. Although many well-skilled carvers existed, they were limited by what their tools could achieve.

AMAZING!!! I met Rob when the store was newly opened and haven't stopped going since. Rob custom made both mine and my husbands wedding bands, made a beautiful keepsake ring for my mother and re made her wedding rings, even keeping an engraved part that was sentimental to her inside. I also have two other rings from Rob, and I have strangers commenting on them all the time. I have sent many friends here all which have been thrilled with the quality, customer service and prices! Robert Cleeve is one of the best custom jewellers I have met. I had masonic ring from my great grandfather that I had him create a brand new ring around. He worked with me on the design for several weeks before we found one that I liked, then he custom made it based on the casting.

Rob Cleeve is professional and courteous. I was involved in the design of my wife's engagement ring and was presented with many options to fit my budget. He crafted the ring earlier than anticipated and I was delivered a fantastic engagement ring. It has been a couple years now and we have had zero problems with the ring and my wife has had many compliments. I used to buy jewelry at the stores in the mall, but we had numerous issues with quality. Robert is amazing!!! He was able to customize my engagement ring, my wedding band and my fiance's band based on my Pinterest's board. He walked us through every step, from choosing the right materials, combining our input and his own expert advise in the design, to the final finishes. Our rings came out even more beautiful than the original photos. Not only they are one-of-the-kind, they reflect who we are and cater to our everyday uses.
