Services
Dr. Lynas and Dr. Riettie are dedicated to making a difference in their patients' lives by providing exemplary dental care. They know that it takes more than just good technique to be a great dentist. It takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety.
Tooth trauma and cavities are not often treated with unsightly metal or amalgam fillings now a days. Technological advances have brought in tooth colored fillings made of durable resins which are bonded to your teeth, providing much more natural look. These composite fillings are nearly undetectable and are an excellent alternative to metal fillings.
Bridges are natural looking, semi-permanent artificial teeth which fill in a gap that is left when a tooth is lost. With the support of neighbouring teeth, a dental bridge aims to connect them and fill the gap. Bridges, which help to strengthen and support your jaw structure as well as complete your smile, can only be removed by a dentist.
Dental crowns, also referred to as "dental caps" are used to rebuild broken teeth. Crowns often become essential when your teeth have weakened or are severely damaged. Repairing the damaged tooth becomes immensely important to prevent complicating oral problems. It is a type of dental restoration that covers the whole portion of the tooth that lies in and above the gums.
An extraction is performed in cases where the impacted wisdom teeth causes discomfort, inflammation, infection and decay, or more commonly, the impacted wisdom teeth grow, pushing themselves against other teeth. Extractions become the only option when a cyst develops around the wisdom teeth and impedes the health and structure of the jawbone.

The dentist and hygienists are friendly, professional and nice- unfortunately the woman at the front desk is so rude, unprofessional and unmannerly that I will not be returning. Dental offices are a dime a dozen in Pickering so providing business to someone so unpleasant will not be my choice moving forward. Hopefully someone at the office can speak to this woman as she is the first person customers see when they enter and instead of being ignored, she can simply say "hello".

Rouge Valley Dental Care is awesome! In my humble opinion, Dr. Riettie is a highly skilled dentist who genuinely cares about the work he performs and the patients he performs it on. He has done a few crowns for me and when you add his gentle, yet confident manner to years of experience, sprinkle in continuous learning, up to date technology, and then top it off with a great sense of humor, you get an 11 out of 10! The assistants, hygienists and front desk team are all a pleasure to deal with. I should also mention the sense of trust I instantly felt with Dr. Riettie and his assistant - I am grateful

I am normally an extremely anxious person at the dentist. I had a bad experience when i was a child and that was that. I started having a toothache a while ago (i let it go for longer than i care to admit) so yesterday june 28th i called rouge calley dentistry to ask about pricing and appointments. Not only was i helped by a very informed and polite receptionist she booked me in to see the dentist this morning at 10am. Turns out i had a while in my tooth and i should be pulled. Not only was i walked through step by step and made sure i was comfortable and okay the whole time but no one was pushy

If you have ever had a bad experience with dentists and your faith needs to be restored then please go here. The staff make you feel so comfortable and even someone who is terrified of simply getting their teeth cleaned will leave calm and probably laughing. I literally travel back to rouge hill for every dentist appointment because of the fantastic service provided here.
