Western Trent Golf Club was built 1975 by designer Rene Muylaert. This 9 hole public golf course is located in Bolsover, Ontario and plays along the Trent Severn Waterway. The property includes pro shop, driving range, licensed patio, and docking facilities, well kept greens, beautiful views and facilities for beginners and experienced golfers alike.
At Western Trent Golf Club we strive to provide each of our guests with an exceptional experience. We supply a Tournament Professional to help you with all of your event details from start to finish. Detailed tournament menus and add-on food and beverage options are available in our tournament package.
All leagues at Western Trent Golf Club are social leagues and while there is some level of competition, that is not the main focus. You are free to play with whomever you please and if you do not have a group, the starter will match you up with a group. I took my 4 year old with me golfing at Western Trent. They treated us so well, they charged us for one adult and one cart but I didn't have to pay for my Son as they didn't have a youth price established yet. I purchased some golf balls at their shop as a way to offset their generosity. The course was great and the carts were clearly sanitized. My Son and I played "best ball" as a way to rapidly progress through the course, as to not hold other players up. We had a blast. I was so impressed by the overall experience I may try to talk my fiancé into getting married there next year.

Aside from the fact that it is only 2 km from my place .. it is a great 9 hole track!! Hole number 5 is as tough as any in the province! Always well groomed and in great shape... clubhouse is friendly, food is terrific and scenery along the Trent is great. Who does not want to hit a drive on #8 with a 40 foot cruiser going by! Looking forward to men's night starting soon! I convinced my pal (from Orillia) and my brother (from Gravenhurst) to make the drive to play every Thursday !

This course is easy to walk on as a single for an afternoon round. Value is pretty good, though the par 4 holes are all around the same length, and the round ends on a par 3. The routing has been changed at some point, and Game Golf does not handle the new layout very well. Overall, it's a good option for golf near Lagoon City.

A great golf club. It boasts a beautiful cottage country patio overlooking the course surrounded by gorgeous flower boxes. You can watch the boats sail by on the Trent System as you make your way up the 8th fairway. Nine and dines on Friday nights are amazing and are often accompanied by live music. Shawna and Colleen have done an amazing… job making this a place for everyone to enjoy. They have a special eye for detail and make sure that everyone is having fun.
