A born and bred Kelownian, Trent is one of the founders of OKLB Rentals. Trent spent many years boating on Okanagan Lake with his family, enjoying the summer seasons and the Okanagan lifestyle. He started his working career in the construction industry both in Kelowna and up in Fort McMurray.
Due to his love of the summer season Trent and his partners kicked off the OKLB Rental company starting with only one boat, building it up to their current ten boat fleet.In the off season, Trent returns to construction, while also spending time with friends and family. During the winter months, he can be found playing hockey with his buddies and snowboarding up at Big White.

Although a boat license is not required, a mandatory Rental Boat Safety Checklist (required by Transport Canada) will need to be completed at time of rental.

Great place to rent a boat on the lake. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even lent us a nice blue tooth speaker as the stereo on the boat wasn't working. We'll definitely rent here again.
CAUTION!! DO NOT STOP AT THE OFFICE AT THE TOP!! DRIVE STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE MARINA.
No need to pay for parking.
The information office at the top scammed us for $21 parking. I give the boat rental 5 stars because they have nothing to do with the resort. I suggested better signage directing people to the marina to avoid getting scammed by the resort office.

We had an amazing experience with these guys! Our boat was ready, we did not book in advance, and they swapped it to one that had better shade for the kiddos. He wiped the boat down for us, patiently helped the kiddos pick the perfect life jacket (an extremely tedious and picky process) and sent us on our way. Very informative and helpful getting us out on the water. Brandon was absolutely amazing… great customer service and a wonderful experience.
The cherry on top was when we ran out of gas in the parking lot and he filled up a jerry can for us. I was blown away at his kindness. Thank you

Fantastic place to rent a boat for fun in the sun! We easily booked online and when we showed up, our Searay 185 Sport was ready and waiting - all we had to do was grab life jackets. Scott was super helpful, doing a "driver refresh" and pointing out different parts of the lake (and areas for swimming) and Brandon made sure our "checkout" was seamless. Kudos to all the staff for seeming to be genuinely happy about making our day a blast. The boat itself was great - perfect for tubing and creating a summer highlight! We'll be back.

Honestly, I would have given the rental and boat experience a full 5 stars but unfortunately the interaction at the office up from the Marina left a little to be desired. We had to play $11 to park in a gravel parking lot that was probably 500+ m away from the Marina. We had 8 people (4 kids, 4 adults) + gear. We quickly realized that walking down to the Marina from this parking lot with all out gear was not an option. Lesson: Don’t stop at the office on your way down.

Thanks to these young gentlemen we had a great day out on the lake. The booking process online was quick and easy and we got the boat as seen online. The guys were super helpful and had great attitudes and full explanation of operation and areas of the lake to avoid. We will definitely will be back and rent from Okanagan Boat rentals again!

I wrote a review 6 days ago. They contacted me to say what is your contact information so that they could resolve the issue. Still haven’t heard from them. More proof of why you should not rent from this company! Original review - We rented a boat last summer that had a broken gas pump. We were told we would be refunded 75% of the rental and we still haven’t seen a cent. I would NEVER recommend anyone rent from this company.

My group and I decided last minute to rent a boat from this marina. We had a great experience — Brandon is very easy to communicate with. We called in a day before and decided to rent a boat for 4 hours. The boat was very well maintained & clean. The whole process was fast and straight forward. We would highly recommend this marina.
