After taking a motor for repair and waiting several weeks my friend was charged for repairs that were not done. After inspection at another marine service center the parts to be replaced were old and worn. They refuse to give his money back claiming the work has been done. They are liers and thief's and I highly recommend not using a company with shady business practices.

My son had his 7.5 hp Evinrude boat motor in for repairs. They charged him for a thermostat, Impeller, and labour. 250.00 later the moror is exact same as prior to so called "repairs". He took it back and they did nothing and wouldn't credit him his money back. I wouldn't recommend this business to anybody and certainly will repeat this story to all my friends and business associates.

Sadly this company does poor workmanship and will only cost you more money. Close friend of mine brought his boat in recently and they absolutely destroyed the case. What should have been a simple prop shaft seal turned into a terrible job not finished due to workmanship from the mechanic and even worse customer service. Would never recommend this shop to anyone.

I purchased a used boat from Selka this spring and was suprised with how well my Wife and I were treated. Service is a rare thing these days and can honestly say the owners Crystal and Dirk went above and beyond to help me out. Yesterday we discovered someone had started to steal the leg off of our boat in our front yard. Apparently there is a lot of this going on. The service we received was outstanding and I cannot say enough good about the prompt and caring response of the team at Selka. While driving to our house to re-attach the leg on the boat, the technician noticed one of our neighbours had had their leg stolen off of their boat as well. When I let the neighbor know, they were of course very dismayed, but appreciated the heads up, prior to pulling their boat to the lake. I did not hesitate to recommend Selka Boat

My Dad had his motor seize just as our holiday started, and it needed a whole new crate motor. Dirk and Crystal were just great, and we ended up getting boat home at 9 pm one night, he worked late so that the kids could get a few days of boating before we left. My Dad is really happy with the new motor, and how fast it was done. The service was amazing, and in the middle of the season to get that level of commitment was really above and beyond.
