Park Manor Personal Care Home is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A church appointed board provides governance oversight to the operations of Park Manor. Ensuring a community's health by providing access to quality health care has been a vital focus for the Health Ministry of the Adventist Church since its inception in the 1860's.

The Dietary Department provides quality nutrition care and meal services to our residents. We provide active, compassionate, multi-disciplinary, palliative care to residents and their families. Park Manor Care operates in harmony with the mission, philosophy and goals of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Services
Park Manor Care is located on a treed lot at 301 Redonda Street in the Transcona area of Winnipeg. Our current capacity is 100 residents in 44 private, 20 semi-private and 4 four-bed rooms. We strive to provide an atmosphere as close to that of home as we can by allowing our residents to personalize their rooms with selected furnishings and pictures and mememtos whenever possible.
End of Life Care is an indispensable component of the care provided at Park Manor Care. Several staff and volunteers are presently trained in this area and endeavor to meet the needs of residents and their families facing the inevitable issues surrounding death and dying. Will provide active, compassionate, multi-disciplinary, palliative care to residents and their families, when an illness is considered terminal or irreversible.
The Dietary Department provides quality nutrition care and meal services to the residents of both Park Manor Care and East Park Lodge, staff, visitors, volunteers, Adult Day Program and Meals On Wheels. Park Manor Care has a kitchen on site, and we pride ourselves on providing nutritious home-cooked meals and baking.
We have a wonderful group of nurses, from newer grads, to many experienced nurses who have achieved 25 years of service here - or more! Park Manor Care is an Abstaining Facility as defined and allowed under WRHA MAiD policy 110.000.400 as posted on the WRHA website. Please direct any questions on this policy to the Executive Director.
We focus on the abilities of each resident, not the disabilities. We develop and implement active and passive programs. Therapeutic Recreation programs are developed for all residents, regardless of race, religion, financial or cultural differences. Therapeutic Recreation endeavors to meet the many individual needs of the residents but would find it impossible if it were not for the help of dedicated volunteers.
