Our most important service to our patients is our comprehensive vision and eye health assessment. As a general guideline, children should have an initial eye exam at the age of 6 months if the parents have no concerns.

Coverage for medical necessity has been announced. Under some circumstances, people with diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (turned eye), visual field defects, retinal disease and corneal disease will be covered. Some common ocular problems like eye infections may not be covered.
