However, the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia has recently disallowed testimonials to appear on dental office websites.
We employ several gentle and experienced dental hygienists who will carefully and thoroughly clean your teeth. Our thorough dental exams will provide you with a clear picture of your current oral health by using the latest techniques and technology. Proper oral hygiene instruction on the latest techniques and materials will be provided, and nutritional counselling can be provided to help you achieve and maintain your dental health.
And no, implant placement does not hurt. Most implants can be placed in our office. In some very difficult cases, we will refer you to an oral surgeon for evaluation and placement. If you want to participate in sports or work the next day, no problem! Are you missing several teeth in one area? Two or more implants with abutments and connected crowns or a bridge is likely the way to go.
Crowns usually cover the entire visible portion of your teeth, and are often used when a tooth has become too decayed or damaged to restore through other techniques. This level of damage may be caused by fractures (through impact, biting on hard things, or clenching teeth, for example), silver amalgam fillings (they expand and therefore crack teeth), or root canal treatments (all molars with RCTs require a crown to prevent fracture of the tooth).

Dr Protzer was the dentist who finally helped me get over my fear of dental offices! He walked me through all the necessary work my mouth needed, with realistic costs and timelines of what takes priority. For nearly a decade before going to see him all my dental work has been "only in an emergency" (which is actually how I ended up in his office, but it says alot about his practice that I went back again voluntarily!) I've been seeing him/the rest of the team for about 3 years now and it's always as pleasant as going to a dentist can be. - for context I've had root canals, crowns, a dental implant

Excellent dentist who truly cares. Had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out, before I knew it he had removed it with no pain. He made me a sleep apnea night appliance that I can not live without. Everyone at this office are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They all go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable.

I had been putting off going to the dentist for far too long when I decided to go in for a check up at my regular office and I was fairly disappointment to find out I had waited too long and needed an extraction. Not wanting to lose the tooth I came to Applecross where Dr.Protzer thought he could probably save it. Amazing work, with no pain at all despite having most of my tooth removed. I've never been in such a nice office, with such friendly staff, and with such care for their patients.

You want to get your teeth cleaned here! Klause was very kind, personable, and accommodating. He understood the restrictions in my insurance plan and worked within them so I wouldn’t break the bank! Dailyn was also fantastic for the same reasons. She was also gentle, yet quick, and very informative. I highly recommend Applecross Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist

My appointment with Dr. Protzer was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Dr. Protzer is very knowledgeable with years of experience under his belt and it truly shows. I normally have a difficult time trusting dentists but Dr. Protzer was exceptionally confidence inspiring. German perfectionism at its finest. If you are looking for a dentist that goes above and beyond Dr. Protzer is the best. He pays tremendous attention to detail.

Dr Protzer is a hard working and an extremely particular dentist whose work ethic reflects in the quality of dental care he provides. I really enjoy my visits and no longer have any fears. The receptionists are hilarious and always make me feel at home and welcome. Everyone is friendly and most of all caring. You are lucky if you are a client at this dental office. I truly feel they all go above and beyond to make my dental experience a breeze.
