The history of our dental clinic at this downtown Nanaimo location goes back more than 50 years. We offer friendly, professional dental services to families across the region. Dr. Sanjivan Mahara acheived his Doctor of Dental Medicine, DMD, degree at the University of British Columbia in 2004.

At Downtown Nanaimo Dental Group, we use digital x-ray technology when taking images of your mouth. However, unlike traditional imaging, digital x-rays possess many qualities that make it the more efficient, convenient, and safe technology. For the patient, the digital x-ray process is very similar to the traditional method.

What a calm respectful environment. My agenda/priorities and budget mattered to them. My dentist was wonderful. She gave me her finding and recommendations in a manner that was clear and easy to understand. I truly feel that my needs were valued and that as a team we would be successful in improving the likelihood of keeping my teeth longer and my mouth healthier.
