Tree Pruning (or tree trimming) is the most common tree care procedure. It contributes to healthy and strong trees, but requires great care and experience. At Royal Tree Service we understand how trees and shrubs will respond to different types of pruning treatments. We also understand how properly maintained trees can add value to your property.
Permits are required for all tree removals, which are obtained from the Public Works department of your municipality or borough. See below for municipal phone numbers. It is unlikely that the inspector will grant a permit for the removal of a tree that is in good condition and in a suitable location.
Stump removal uses a machine to grind away a stump, of any diameter, to an agreed depth below ground level. This is usually between 6 and 12 inches, which leaves a level area for grass to be grown. Stump chips are then raked into the hole, ready for landscaping. The mix of wood chips and soil make an excellent mulch.

We had used other tree trimming services for our large maple tree before, but from now on we will only deal with Royal Tree Service. These guys (and girl) really known their stuff. Very professional top notch work with security always in mind. The cleanup was excellent. I’m very happy to have found a local company with high a quality of work. I had 2.5 dead ash trees that were ravaged by the Emerald Ash Borer (for the half tree the previous contractor literally walked off the job halfway through.) The job was not the safest but the Royal Tree Service team did an amazing job in taking them down safely and efficiently and for a fair price. Every concern that I had was addressed. I did not want the branches and logs falling on my decorative rocks, no problem they covered and protected them from the falling debris. I did not want my lawn to get destroyed by their grapple truck and buggy, no problem they covered the lawn with planks of wood

Called several companies to get a quote on tree trimming. Royal tree service was the first to get back to me. They sent someone over to give us a quote, even called us to confirm the appointment.
We accepted the quote ( very reasonable) and they sent out a crew in timely manner. The crew members were professional and nice. They did exactly what we asked for and did a great clean up job. Would definitely recommend this company for your tree service needs.

After using Royal several times I've found them to be reliable, trustworthy and highly professional. Their sales representative is knowledgable and proves an honest overview of what is or isn't possible for a given job. The office staff are highly organized. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating, calling back whenever necessary, and making certain that we are well-informed about any choices we have to make. I have been doing business with Royal Tree Service for many years. They are great! They just completed a lot of work for us in September and had them back in October to remove a willow tree that was damaged in a storm.

Royal Tree Service sent a team of 3 men to prune a huge Ash tree in my backyard. The tree hadn't been pruned in quite a while and was encroaching on our house, had branches wrapped around the hydro/telephone lines to the house and had several dead/broken branches.
The team did an absolutely wonderful job. The tree now looks beautiful. They cleaned up all the branches and even raked the smaller twigs off the lawn, then fine-chipped them in a chipper, as required to make sure that any Ash Tree Borer Beetles would not be carried away.
