Butter Baked Goods
Butter is the vision of Rosie Daykin, who has been baking up a storm ever since she was old enough to hold a wooden spoon. She is and always has been a girl with a plan. From the ripe old age of 6 she had already begun to envision the bakery she hoped to one day own. Marriage, a baby and a career in interior design came first but in September of 2007 she was able to realize her childhood dream.

At Butter you will find all the yummy baked goods you remember from your childhood, made from scratch every day using only the best ingredients in everything produced. The greatest care is taken and no detail overlooked to make sure that everything at Butter tastes as good as Mom would have made! In September of 2012 the Butter Baked Goods Cafe moved to its new home at 4907 Mackenzie Street, Vancouver BC.

Delicious drinks and baked goods!
Would be five stars had they not added mayo to my breakfast sandwich despite counter staff assuring me there would be none on the sandwich.
I had only discovered this once back in my office as it was a to go order.
Otherwise the baked goods and drinks were wonderful!
(Extremely texture sensitive to mayo and similar consistencies)

Went for the hot chocolate festival offerings. Hot chocolate was poorly mixed, barely room temperature, and came in a paper cup after we asked for cups to sit in the cafe (they hadn't done dishes yet). All our baked goods were tasty, but probably won't bother again with the 30+ minute drive from our place. Staff was indifferent, not a great experience overall.

I tried 2 products from Butter Baked Goods:
Simple chocolate cupcake - good enough, decent, a little inconsistent with the batter. There were small chunks of unmixed flour that tasted different from the rest of the batter. Frosting was sweet and the cake was a LOT less sweet. So it balanced when eaten together. Still, not the best cupcake. Good packaging. (Nov 2021)
Vanilla homemade marshmello ( in a clear bag with branded sticker and blue ribbon) - terrible. It was so gross I didn't want to finish the bite. I ate 1 whole piece just in case I was wrong about the taste. And shared with my family

I saw that a woman on Google stated that everything was peanut, caramel, and chocolate. I don’t know what bakery she was in! We went there today and I was absolutely impressed with the beauty, the variety, and more importantly, the flavour of everything we got. The cookies are light, crunchy and flavourful, the cinnamon bun was soft but not doughy… with a wonderful balance of sweet but not too, and the ginger molasses cookies was soft and full of flavour. I am not easily impressed (my sister used to own a very successful bakery in the states) but I sure was today! She had us at &ldquo

Butter is one of Vancouver’s best well-kept secrets in swanky Kerrisdale. A delicious, delicate, and fine boulangerie bistro. Either an avocado toast or a Coney Island tart, my mouth waters with that memory!

We have been loyal fans of Butter for a long time but this morning, we were treated so rudely by the staff that we left without ordering. There is a polite way to be covid-safe, and this morning was an example of what not to do. Service and safety can happily coexist!

Rosie at Butter Baked Goods and her team made our wildest wedding cake dreams come true! I found wedding cake shopping challenging as we just wanted simple, great tasking cake and all the artisan cake shops seemed to charge an arm and a leg (understandably, cakes can be artwork). Rosie's cakes were reasonably priced and she took our creative cake vision to the next level. She helped us plan for the number of guests perfectly and the cakes were customized and absolutly beautiful. We can't wait to have Rosie make our next special occasion cake!

OMG! We were just in the neighborhood for a open house, we wanted a London fog and this one was the closest coffee shop. I was so surprised that how beautiful this shop is! Love love the decorations, and the sweets! Safe to say it is the best peanut butter cookie that we have ever had in our entire life! The cookie was soft, but didn’t fall out when picked up, and the peanut butter cream in the middle... to die for....!!!! And this is not the best yet! They have high tea every Sunday (by reservations), and they look amazing!!!! I’ll definitely be coming back, if not for the high tea, for the
