Lost peripheral vision about a year and half ago, during the Pandemic. Called around to half a dozen eye clinics and none were willing to see me. Kept telling me to come back the next morning or go to the Royal Alex emergency eye clinic.
This was the only place that was willing to take me in and see me.
Started with the loss of vision followed by a headache and nausea.
Doctor did some tests and concluded that it could've been a result of a migraine.
Went back the following day for follow up testing and things looked fine. Thank goodness.

Even though I was just browsing, and asking questions (which I usually hate doing, and feel self conscious about) I had the most amazing service here!!

I have been going to this eye clinic for almost 4 years now. The doctors are extraordinary and really take the time to explain all aspects of the exam. Dr. Halabi & Dr. Defilippo are gems in the industry, very rare to find!
The options for glasses and sunglasses are spectacular; you are sure to find multiple pairs to fall in love with. Also they carry the entire Chanel collection which is very exclusive. Overall a beautiful clinic and awesome staff!

My autistic daughter's appointment was handled really well. Dr. Yau was very good with her. We were in and out of there in a short period of time. Picked out glasses afterward. A huge selection. The staff were very helpful and patient. We were able to pick up my daughter's new glasses the same day. Great experience.

My husband came in to buy sunglasses and to replace his lenses in his current glasses. His first interaction with an sales associate was satisfactory. She asked what he was looking for and took him straight to the sunglasses. The issue was when he went to pick up the sunglasses, on his lunch break, that were said to be ready. The sunglasses were not tinted to be sunglasses and he was told he wasn't charged for them to be tinted, but to not worry " It's not much only $40." The cost of the purchase was already rediculous. There was no apology for the over sight through the entire transaction. He

Very nice experience every time i come here for all my children's check ups with Dr. Halabi she is very knowledgeable, detailed and clear when doing the examination and explaining to you after, also i have to mention when choosing your frames Maria is very helpful and explains to you any question you may have, it makes it easier and quicker for you to choose at the end. I am a long time customer and have always received excellent eye care. The price for certain lense and frame combinations can be pricey at Londonderry Eye Care, but I have had no issues with the quality or service.

Loyal customer for over a decade, after today I will NEVER return. Came for a contact lens re-order, with a prescription from a reputable Doctor. I was told that they would only honor prescriptions from THEIR Doctor.
The cost of exams has gone up(of course), and I'm sick of their cash grabs. People cant afford to throw money away anymore. You guys act classy and upscale but you are just money grubbers.

I went here for an eye exam and had a great experience. It was easy to book and the renovations are very nice modern and bright.
The decor was nice and the staff was very friendly and efficient.
They don't take GroupSource as direct billing which sucks but I don't mind since I have benefits still.
I gave them a lower rating cause all the display glasses are locked up and I can't just browse and try on glasses. I don't have money right now to buy glasses right now and felt pressured to buy glasses instantly.

Refusing to give me my "PD" measurements over the phone. Reason they gave me was that "Companies are getting sued for giving out the incorrect PD to some clients". So then why not take the time to give me to correct PD measurement? I paid for my eye exam and its unfair for them to withhold simple information like that. I believe they refuse this information so that people don't order glasses online for a fraction of the price. Will NEVER go to Londonderry Eye care for glasses or eye exams again.

Sat on hold for over 10 minutes. Someone kept picking up the phone and putting it back on hold so all I ever hard was a recording. Nobody could bother to even say, "sorry I'll be right with you." I wanted to ask one quick question. They didn't even give me a provider number on the receipt so I could submit to my insurance, then I couldn't get through to ask for it. My fiancé phoned while I was on hold and his call got through first. Great customer service. Glad we didn't get the glasses there. Also, all of their glasses are locked up. I've never been

I have been going here since before grade two (so, 1991), and the quality of service has always been exceptional, both on the optometry and retail side. The doctors are great, no matter who I've been to see, and my prescriptions are always bang on. They also have a huge selection of frames. Most of them are on the higher end of the price scale, but they do have a section specifically for people on a budget, or those receiving benefits through programs like AISH. They are always willing to help you try on frames, even of you're not looking to purchase that day. I'm going to keep coming

I came here forever ago (like a year, maybe?) with my BF to help him find glasses. We had a great experience, and he ended up with some awesome glasses. Fast forward to this year.. I needed an eye exam and probably new glasses. He recommended the optometrists here (and so does Yelp, apparently!) so off I went.
First time around I wandered through the eyeglass area, checking out their selection of frames. It was pretty impressive. What didn't impress me as much was the fact that not one person greeted me, or acknowledged me while I was browsing. I decided to book an eye exam here anyways

I was back for an eye exam in late August 2012 and learned that the optometrist I saw last had left this establishment. This time I had my eyes checked by Dr Singh - who's very thorough. A few weeks later when I came back for a new set of lenses, they were running a little short on staff on the floor. However, that gave me just enough time to browse through the walls to in the frames selection process. From there onwards, I had the same quality of service as my visit last year.

I got my eyes checked here, and it was a really great experience. I don't remember the name of the optometrist, but she was younger and really nice. It was embarassing at first, because they tried to do the air puff test on my eyes, but I always flinch, before they can get a good reading. I just can't stand having air blown into my eyes. So the doctor ended up using a blue light instead, which was so much better! I never knew this existed before, and at least now I know I'll never have to go through that torturing air puffer ever again.
