One of my specialties is helping people in Montreal with laptop problems such as defective DC power jacks connectors, motherboards and screens. The defective power jack problem is the issue I see the most often in Dell, HP, Compaq and Toshiba laptops because they tend to be poorly designed. Usually, if the power fluctuates on and off when the power is plugged in, then its due to a faulty power connector on the motherboard.

Very nice, honest treatment received from Jim. I brought my laptop for a diagnostic and the recommendations provided were great. All the information was provided beforehand in a very transparent manner and I brought my computer back home 3 hours later. Great service, no surprises! I highly recommend this place.

Went to ask for a few small screws for my laptop, the guy asked for $10 which is fair (kind of), then asked him if I can open my laptop myself and he was I have to charge you an extra $25, this was $25 to borrow a screwdriver for 2 minutes. Absolute ripoff. Never dealing with greedy businesses like this

Remember the good old days when you go walk into a computer retailer and get real advice, based on deep knowledge. rather than just whatever that week's commission bonus is? Neither do I. Maybe that was before my time. But this wonderful good humored man recreates that possibly imaginary past in his Harry Potter-like workshop/store. He is courteous and very helpful, smart, and you will end up buying a much better computer system for far less than any big box or Dell, etc. He knows PC, Mac Pro, even Unix. I had an amazing experience with i-tech system. They helped me throughout the whole process of changing died hard drive to SSD. On top of that, they recovered all my data from the old hard drive, and recommended me the Windows 10 OS. This was the best repair service I have ever used. Found it by walking by. I gave them my computer, they diagnosed it within a few hours and fixed it in less than 24 hours. The staff were super friendly and informative. The price was perfectly reasonable given their high quality service.
I would highly recommend this to anyone (especially students) looking to get their laptops repaired or at least checked out.
