I'm extremely happy with the service provided by KSK computers. I brought my Macbook Pro to the Apple store since it wouldn't boot up and they said there was water damage and I would need a new computer (or paying $2100+ in repairs with no guarantee I can keep my data). I wanted to keep the content of my hard drive since I had weeks of unsaved work so I decided to give KSK Computers a try.
I brought my laptop to them (he even offered to come pick it up for free) and there is a diagnostic fee payable in cash that ends up being deductible from the final repair cost. About 1 hour later

I've availed myself of KSKs services a couple of times. One of those times I had a bios chip that had failed on my motherboard. Sadly the other components of my system would not fit well with the motherboards that could easily be acquired in a timely manner. I was looking at a repair that would take possibly weeks, this for a critically important computer.
KSK instead replaced the bios chip on the motherboard. And it cost me a lot less than it would have cost to replace the motherboard! Good luck finding a tech who can and would do that at most other places.

Really the only good thing about having a computer break while you're working is making a new connection with a smart company that will fix your computer THAT DAY, for a very reasonable price.
KSK is really the best computer repair experience I've had in 35 years. Extremely easy to work with and super knowledgeable. I even got pick up and delivery. Magic!
BestBuy and most others quoted me 3-4 weeks to replace a power supply at nearly the cost of a new machine. I called 10 places and got the Quebec run-around (arrogant, frustrating attitudes, maybe we can fix it maybe not!) - calls
