Our very own locksmith, Jason Scheide, is donating his long blond hair to the Locks of Love charity, becoming the Locksmith of Love. His son, Rohan, will be having his first hair cut at the same time. My family was very supportive, but did not quite understand when I announced that I became a locksmith.
We are here when you need us. Come to our store for keys. Email us questions and photos of broken locks. Call us when you are locked out, locked in or just need to change your locks. Many people think the value of a key is just the few dollars it takes to make a copy. The truth is that the value of a key is the precious possessions kept behind the lock that key operates. When a key gets lost it becomes a flaw in your home or office security, especially in Toronto. By some measures 50% of all break-ins occur with no visible signs of entry.
Many people choose not to change the key of their lock when they move into a new house or business. This means that the builder, (and the builders employees, ) the previous owner or tenant, (and their employees or family, ) and who-knows-who else has keys. About 50% of break and enters occur without any signs of forced entry - many of those are with a key.
