Art Gallery Of Regina
Located on Treaty 4, the traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, Lakota and Dakota peoples, and the homeland of the Mtis people, the Art Gallery of Regina (AGR) promotes the development and appreciation of contemporary art, with an emphasis on Saskatchewan artists. Our programming focuses on the voices and experiences of Saskatchewan artists and visitors.

AGR programming encompasses exhibitions (featuring established, emerging and recreational artists), education, publishing, workshops and artists talks. Through free public exhibitions and dedicated support for artists and innovation, the AGR has over 45 years as a supportive and creative cultural hub connecting artists and our communities.
Services
Piece together a personalized narrative experience in digital artist Lisa Birke's immersive video installation Natures of Reality. Do you feel frustrated by Instagram feeds filled with face-tuned selfies and meaningless platitudes in fancy script? Do you worry about deep fakes or skewed notions of reality induced by blockbuster films rife with CGI (computer-generated imagery)?
The Outside the Box exhibition series is a members' only, non-curated program for Art Gallery of Regina (AGR) members to show and sell their work. The AGR has a long history of working with and supporting local artists and guilds since its inception as an experimental satellite project of the Norman MacKenzie Gallery in 1974.
Artists Duvall and McDonald are creating an alternative field guide to unexplained events in Regina with human and non-human spirits, wanderers, or legends. Our research will take the form of consultations with diverse members of the community whose extraordinary encounters will shape this project.
We are pleased to provide a listing of exhibitions and an online archive of selected catalogues for research purposes. Please note that our online archives go back to 2000: if you require information on an exhibition prior to that year, please contact the AGR at (306) 522-5940 or email us at info@artgalleryofregina.ca.
The AGR is pleased to present an in-person screening of a pre-recorded artist talk with Aganetha Dyck, in conversation with Curator Sandee Moore. The talk will be live broadcast and can be viewed online* from any internet enabled video device. You may also view a large projection of the broadcast in the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre's Stitchery Room (attendance limited).
