The Junction is a place where people can be themselves, find cool treasures, laugh hard and be inspired. Big hearts and creative minds. The Junction is a community-focused creative space right at the "Junction" of YQR's downtown and cathedral areas. We are an eclectic space that offers hair styling and massage services, studio space and the home of a less-than-traditional art Gallery.
We strive to create opportunity, break down competitive stereotypes and change the expectation. We help build our community by supporting each other, working together, inspiring each other and creating something so much bigger than what one could do alone. To be unique, to be memorable, to "be weird".

We currently have everything from paintings, jewelry, music, books, pottery, products and the list goes on. We host events and pop-ups, we volunteer, and we have lots of fun.
We strive to attract nice people as customers and thanks to you, we can proudly say that we're doing a heckin' good job! We are a crew of morally driven, creatively inspired and education focused hairstylists. We aim to communicate and work with you to achieve an amazing 'do that will best suit you and your lifestyle!
The Junction is jam-packed with creative creatures, so it was only natural to form dedicated gallery and studio spaces within. As an extension of The Junction, it is our goal to support artists and showcase local talent. We bring these unique treasures to the community thru exhibits, pop-ups and merchandise.
Thank you for your interest in joining The Junction {creative studio} and The Woods {art space}. We currently offer a few different options for creative humans such as yourself. Please fill out the entire form with as much detail as you'd like to give, this will help us get to know you and your business.

I had very long hair, all one length. I came in for a trim and a good 2-3 inches were taken off. It wasn’t until I got home that I saw the back of my hair; It’s uneven in the back and the long layers I asked… for in the back & front are not blended. The front is also uneven. So much of my hair was cut off and I now have to get it fixed. The stylist was very nice & personable. However, I thought they’d be more experienced.

Some off the best hairstyles in the City....you want to try and get in with Jules she is a journeyman and knows what she is doing with hair and hair colour.
They also feature local artists... beautiful pottery by local artists and paintings By Greg Allen you defiantly want to have a looks at his art work.
The atmosphere is genuinely welcoming and kind, a great place to hangout
