Services
It is our mission to provide a well-rounded learning experience for our students. Not only that we provide essential violin lessons to our students, we also prepare them for their choice of examinations. The current examination boards in consideration are the Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada), the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (England) and the Trinity College of London (England).
Generally speaking, children about 5 to 6 years old can start learning. This is usually when their cognitive and fine motor skills have been developed to a level that's suitable to begin. We have students ranging from absolute novices all the way to Licentiate level candidates. Not only that we have students on all skill levels, our current student age ranges between 5 and 67 years old.

Excellent and professional violin teacher. Always encouraging students instead of giving negative feedback on their performance.

I have known Maestro Lau for over 20 years, and In my experience his studio is a hidden treasure in developing future generations of outstanding musicians. Canada needs more well qualified violin teachers to contribute to our children’s real music educations. Simon Lau is among the only few whom I will send my kids to study violin from. 5-stars on results, easy to communicate and understand, teaching method, good with small kids, and reasonable pricing.

I'd been learning violin with Simon for about ten years; I can definitely say I progressed during that time, and learned a lot. I think I grew both musically, and as a person as well; in addition to being a great violin teacher, he's also very patient and understanding. Lessons are more than just weekly mandatory sessions; I personally feel as if there's something more in them, though I can't quite put it into words, but it's a really good thing that I don't believe you can really find at any other place that offers violin lessons as well! For the record, Simon isn't the first person I'd learned
