Our guitar lessons includes are constructed for: Classical Guitar, Accoustic Guitar, and Electric Guitar. We offer lessons for various genres for solo or accompaniment. Hanway's violin lesson follows the RCM examination lesson approach. Our teachers are well equipped with many years of teaching experiences to students aged 4 and up.

We at Hanway believe there is a musical soul that lies within everyone and part of our goal is to bring that out in our students. Throughout my music learning journey, I have received experiences from both eastern and western teachers, gaining their insight and teaching philosophies.

Hanway Music School in Markham and Richmond Hill currently offer Private piano lessons. Our 1 to 1 private lesson gives the teacher a direct approach to the students skill set, allowing a more dynamic and effective teaching result. For beginner students, lessons are structured to learn the basics of note reading, hand posture, rhythmic and ear training.
They say that the piano is the king of all instruments, but guitar is the smartest instrument. Built for portability, the guitar helps us make music wherever we go. Good teacher with a good location. However...
1. The timeslot they gave us was not the best
2. My daughter's piano lesson was placed beside the drum room so she was slightly distracted by the noise.
I hope they can manage their timeslots a bit better for a more pleasant experience.

UPDATE:
The manager of the school called us and was able to work out another time slot with the same teacher. I appreciate Henry for taking the time to move their schedule to fit what we needed. Excellent customer care!
