Individual vocal lessons, vocal ensembles, with an established teacher and famous clasical and pop singer Stanislas Vitort. Individual classical guitar and bass lessons. Jazz, rock, pop, country ensembles and musical show, with an established teacher and famous popular guitar performer Viktor Khomenko.
Services
The World Academy of Music was founded in 2009 on the basis of Alania Music Studio, which was founded in 2001. Many of our students have won awards in performance, always earning high marks at International and Canadian piano competitions. Upon graduation, the majority of students pursue careers in music, and many have become music majors at University of Toronto.
I get a chance to perform every once in a while but as I keep telling people, I don't have a signed contract yet. So I don't know if that's going to happen, but I'll tell you something.
With the talent that I've heard here this afternoon, there is an incredible future for you, and so one day whether you perform at Roy Thompson Hall, at the Opera House downtown, the ACC, or who knows, maybe even the new arena if we're lucky to get that facility here in Markham, but what I hear is incredible talent and an incredible future and thank you for making Markham a great cultural place.Congratulations to everyone, thank you.

I know this place for two years since we moved to Markham. A welcoming environment, convenient location, an amazingly friendly manager and a great piano teacher (Ms. Elizabeth) for my daughter... are all the good things I can say about World Academy of Music. A few times we needed schedule change they worked with us so we didn’t have to worry about missing lessons or being charged unfairly. Absolutely recommended.

My son has been a piano student of World Academy of Music for 8 years and I highly recommend this school. The school atmosphere is great and warm. The teachers are exceptional with the highest degree of professionalism with high expectations. The teachers are strict yet understanding and warm at the same time, taking pride in students achievements, always trying their best to help students achieve their full potential. Staff is extremely helpful, treating all students and parents with respect and always eager to help. Exceptional music school.
