Dr. Rodrigues has been in private practice in the downtown core for over 25 years. We provide eye exams that include personal health history, binocular vision assessment, spectacle prescription, pachymetry, intraocular pressures, investigation of dry eye and similar anterior segment conditions, and dilated assessment of the retina and eye health.
We also offer appointments for emergency visits (infection, foreign body removal, flashes/floaters, etc.), contact lens-related visits, Vision Waiver assessments, colour vision testing, and baby/toddler eye exams (as young as 6 months of age).We are dedicated to providing outstanding vision care by continually investing in the latest technology, education, and training.

We offer disposable and non-disposable contact lenses for single vision, multifocal, astigmatism, and extended prescription ranges in name brands such as J&J (Acuvue), Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Coopervision, etc. We also offer custom contact lenses to mask corneal distortion due to surgery, trauma, or disorders like keratoconus, as well as online reordering and delivery of replacement lenses.
We offer a carefully curated selection of frames and lenses from trusted suppliers, and also offer a service to update the prescription lenses in your existing glasses with high optical- quality lenses (Zeiss). We are pleased to offer premium eye protection and comfort with polarized sunglasses from Serengeti, or custom tints through one of our partner labs.
We use preliminary testing equipment to give an estimate of the spectacle prescription, the curvature and thickness of the cornea, and the pressure inside the eye. The curvature of the cornea is a key indicator of corneal disorders. Pressure and corneal thickness are very important factors for glaucoma screening.
History: Taking a detailed eye and medical history for yourself as well as any family members. Eye Health Assessment: Of pupil function, intraocular pressure, corneal thickness, and a detailed examination of your eye health using a microscope looking at all the layers of the eye: eyelids, cornea, conjunctiva, lens, vitreous, and retina.

I find the team extremely unprofessional and rude. I was asked repeatedly to repeat the same exam, yet wasn't explained why and quit frankly the way I was asked was very commanding and rude.
Also one of the Dr that checked my eyes failed to see an infection until after I mentioned it, so I'm not sure how professional this is. I was very disappointed

Bar none, the best medical clinic I've ever been to. I called about an issue that I was having, and the receptionist jumped through hoops to get me seen by their professionals at the clinic. She also took the time to escalate the appointment to a neuro ophthalmologist given my history and was so caring and kind.
Anna Yoo is also a fantastic optometrist. Kind and succinct, professional and understanding.
I have a lot of medical issues and it has been a true blessing to experience the care of this clinic as it has out performed all of the other medical clinics I have been to.

I had an appointment with Dr. Olivia Hwee today and it was a very good experience. She was very nice and performed a complete examination of my eyes, explaining well what she was doing. I don't like eye exams in general, but I felt very comfortable with the procedures there. For example, for eye pressure they use the equipment that blows air instead or touching the eye, so it really wasn't bad. I will definitely come back when it's time to do new exams.
