Monica is a graduate of the MacEwan acupuncture program and practices in downtown Edmonton. Monica was diagnosed with endometriosis at a young age and after several surgeries it was recommended she have a hysterectomy before she was even 20 years old. As a last resort she began seeking other options.
One in six Canadian couples struggle with becoming pregnant. Research has shown that fertility acupuncture increases your chances of conception. This is because acupuncture regulates both your hormones and your menstrual cycle, promotes ovulation, and supports a healthy luteal phase for successful implantation.
Acupuncture is proven by modern research to improve IVF outcomes by enhancing blood flow and circulation to the ovaries and uterus, reducing side effects of medication as well as reducing stress during the IVF process. Incorporating acupuncture along with your fertility treatments can maximize your chances of success.
Massage therapy is a safe and effective way to relieve pain and muscle tension in the body, promote relaxation and boost mood. In addition to massage, our massage therapists also offer myofascial cupping. Cupping works by releasing tight muscle tissue and increasing circulation to the area and can be incorporated into your massage.
Musculoskeletal injuries involve the muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones. These injuries can occur due to direct trauma to the area (whiplash from a motor vehicle accident), from over use related to occupation (carpal tunnel from years of typing or elbow pain often seen in electricians from daily repetitive use) or from pushing through strenuous workouts to the point of stiffness and reduced range of motion.

I've been seeing Monica for over a year and can attest to how deeply she cares for those attempting to conceive, solve pain issues and just improve their overall health (I've seen her for all three). Monica has driven herbs to my house, answered all questions I've ever had and has been so much more then you'd ever expect in an acupuncturist.

Monica is amazing. She has changed my life! She has given me more guidance and channels for support than my family doctor. She is relatable and offers an insight that I did not find with another acupuncturist ( Tammy Lalonde). If it wasn't for Monica I would still be fighting to get into a fertility clinic with my doctor, and because she knew about Full Circle Woman's Clinic I was able to have someone take me seriously. I am beyond grateful for her!

This review is late to the party, mainly because I’m sleep deprived at home with my newborn… a newborn that I have because of Monica!! Her knowledge of the female reproductive system and the different ways acupuncture can aid in healthy cycles and fertility is beyond what I could have ever expected. She instilled confidence in me that I would get pregnant within a few months of treatment and she just had to be an overachiever because I got pregnant after my first month working with her!

My wife and I have come to Monica for acupuncture for over a year now and and the experience has been fantastic. All of the staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating. I'm not a big fan of needles but the whole process is painless and relaxing, and Monica has such a friendly and bubbly personality, it all makes it a great experience. I've come to her for night sweats and the improvement is very noticeable. I would highly recommend Monica if you're looking for an acupuncturist, or are even just curious and would like to give it a try.

Monica is simply amazing. After I miscarried I felt so hopeless and my SIL recommended I go see Monica for fertility acupuncture. I became pregnant after just a few visits! Monica was so friendly, encouraging and understanding of what I was going through. She made me feel cared for, heard and confident in my bodies ability to become pregnant again. I have gone to Monica Patt Acupuncture for fertility help as well as pain relief. After struggling to conceive for a year, I became pregnant within 1 month after doing fertility acupuncture. Fast forward to this year when I went to see Monica for shoulder pain I was having that i couldn’t seem to shake, ONE treatment with her and my pain was gone and has stayed gone for multiple months now. Monica is also just a joy to be around. I would highly recommend Monica Patt Acupuncture!

Monica is a healthcare provider that cares, which is difficult to find. Her sense of humor makes the fertility journey less daunting than it seemingly is, and she really takes a interest in her patients; coming in early, staying late, squeezing you in to ensure your treatment is on schedule and when needed.
Monica TRULY knows what she is doing, so the one piece of advice I can give is to just listen! Do what she says, attend the appointments that she suggests and trust that she has

Monica is simply the best. We are so grateful for Monica and we had such an incredible experience with her. I am happy to say that we got pregnant through our first round of IVF and I truly think Monica had a big part to play. I enjoyed my appointments, Monica is so warm, engaging and informed, she truly made our infertility journey so much easier.
