Keeping with the family tradition, Barry, Brad's son and Al's Grandson comes to us from the recruiting office of the Canadian Armed Forces. He has a wealth of customer relation experience and exceptional office skills. He will be our new office manager and dispatcher. Al's Appliance Repair was founded by Al Pembleton in Guelph, Ontario in 1985.
After working a number of years in retail and factory work, Al decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship. He purchased the business from George Stevenson and worked with him for a full year with no wage to learn the trade. Al pounded the pavement delivering flyer's and talking to people, promoting his new business.

Al's Appliance is committed to providing the safest possible service to our valued customers. Our techs will be wearing masks when they arrive and we ask that you observe the 2 meter social distancing protocol as they work. They may remove the masks once a suitable distance has been established as they can be very difficult to work in.
Ask to upgrade to braided stainless steel hoses. They are a popular site for bird and small animal nests. Start the dishwasher, when the water starts to come in, open the door and add 4 litres of vinegar. Let sit for 24 hrs. Close the door and let the dishwasher finish it's cycle. Recommended every 6 months.
The person we seek is looking for a long term career. We need someone to carry on our high customer service standards into the next generation. Backed by a very competent office staff, the successful applicant will eventually provide appliance service as well as train and manage future service technicians.
Brad was super professional & was able to squeeze my dryer repair in on a Friday afternoon. His work is under warranty too, which is a bonus! He was informative, friendly and quick with his work. I also really appreciated the advanced technology he offers. He accepts all major credit cards AND can text or email you your receipt.

While I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing Brad's hands on work, I wanted to point out how fantastic he was in delivering quality customer service.
I had been attempting a home repair of my rather old Electric Range and figured I had narrowed it down to 1 of 2 issues. Not willing to spend much on the repair as I was preparing for a Reno and… subsequent replacement of all Kitchen appliances, I reached out to several appliance parts and repair places in Guelph.
Once of those places (Department Store Parts Depot) had a respondent who's inability to communicate in English mirrored that
