Trafiq is an artisanal caf & bakery. We serve breakfast & lunch in a spacious shop on Main Street. Everything is made here in our bakery, from buttery croissants to all natural breads using a sourdough starter that originated in Normandy. Our countertops are filled with scrumptious bakery delights.

Services
We merged Sergio's former cake bakery with the West Van caf concept and now run a bustling caf & bakery on Main Street. Sergio fell in love with the science of baking and was formally trained in Houston, Texas by Belgian pastry chef, Eddy Van Damme. To this day, Sergio adheres to establishing well honed techniques in baking and cooking.
While we are not a gluten free bakery, we do have a couple of delicious gluten free treats. For lunch, we can substitute Trafiq breads with a gluten free baguette from the Gluten Free Epicurean. No, we discovered many years ago that our place is best suited to conversation and disconnecting from our devices.

Cute little spot. Cakes are ok, no wow factor. Sometimes a bit dry. The cookies, bars and pastries are very good. My fav was the chocolate walnut brownie, which has not been available for over 2 yrs now. It was an item that kept me going back. I barely go now. They do have a chocolate peanut butter brownie, not very good.

Came here for a cake last week. Bought a whole cake for a birthday and a coffee to go. Was told by the girl at the cash to wait by the delivery window. My wife and myself were simply standing at the back near the door. The old lady with the white hair working the sandwich station tells us to wait outside as we are blocking the door. We weren't blocking the door and there was no one coming in. I told her it's cold outside so she tell us to stand behind a couple who are dining in because we're "blocking the door". My wife is pregnant so I'm not letting her stand in the cold and we were in no way

This is my 2nd day hanging out in the Main St as there are so many cafes and restaurants to explore. I came to this cafe today as I heard about their signature cakes.
I came here with my friend and picked the Vanilla All Stars and Salted Caramel cake to share. The shop was almost full but it didn't take long for the cakes and coffee.
The cakes are marvellous - perhaps the best cakes I have ever had since I come to Vancouver. The cakes ain't too sweet but the taste proved a good marriage of salted caramel and vanilla. The layers of flavour didn't cover each other but matched in harmony.

First time at Trafiq and most definitely not the last. This was absolutely Devine!
Got a bunch of slices to try out.
Chunky monkey, carrot cake, the coffee cake, and a slice of salted caramel cake.
The top two favourites were the chunky money and the salted caramel cake (huge slice)

I've been following them on insta and was craving to try their Madagascar cake. I bought one slice of that and another from chocolate decadent. Both cost me $15.50.
It was a generous slice of cake. Moist and thick and the mousse was so light and creamy. Their cakes are well balanced and what I liked the most was that it didn't taste too sweet.
Cannot wait to try more...

They have amazing cake, but their sandwiches are surprisingly very good also. The cake slices are perfectly crafted and very generous, not mini-slices like you'll see at many trendy/modern bakeries. They also have full cakes available for purchase - it's better to pre-order but I think you can also walk in and buy one. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I visited for the first time this weekend and was super impressed! I was drawn in because their cakes looked appealing, but it turned out my sandwich was also amazing. I had the Vegetarian Green Goddess Sandwich, a slice of Neapolitan Cake, and their 10 Spice Chai. The sandwich was packed with brie cheese and lots of veggies that went together well. This was a lot heavier on the cheese than other green goddess sandwiches I've tried but I really liked it - I am a big brie fan! The whole wheat bread, which they bake themselves was also hearty and fresh. Their chai was nice too - it was unsweetened

For my birthday cake, my parents had picked up Trafiq's Salted Caramel Cake.
The cake was perfect.
It had such a perfect amount of sweetness and it was so light and fluffy. Did I forget to mention that their even was caramel oozing out the middle.
I'm speechless 10/10

I used to always eat Trafiq cakes at family gatherings but this was the first time I got a cake from here for my birthday! I pre ordered the Homage to Earl Grey 6" cake. I've never tried this flavour before so I was excited to try it! It is a pretty simple vanilla cake with earl grey flavoured mousse. The earl grey flavour is a bit light and I think they could've added some more earl grey in there. Overall it was a really nice and delicious cake that wasn't too sweet and I think anyone would enjoy. I've tried their salted caramel cake as well and that one is more on the

Extremely shocked and dissaponted in trafiq's customer service and care. They are clearly not equipped to handle their online ordering service with competence.
I have been a lover and supporter of trafiq's cakes for years, and recently ordered 3 slices of cake from their online store thinking it would be more convinient - IT IS NOT.
I realized after placing the order that I had accidentally selected the incorrect date (their calendar on the website is not layed out as the regular Sunday-Saturday calendar that mostly every other platform is).
Not even 10 mins after I placed my order

One of my absolute favourite places in Vancouver for cakes and baked goods. I've been here a number of times and my favourite to get is their earl gray cake. It's usually best to preorder as sometimes their more popular items can run out. I was a bit late to the game this time around in preordering a cake for a family member's birthday and a lot of their cakes had run out for preorders. Instead, I decided to try their pear almond tart instead. And what else can I say besides "Wow!" Although not as good as their earl gray cake as their cakes are in a league of their own

This place is undoubtedly one of my favourite places in Vancouver. I've been there in person to try their desserts but this time due to covid I ordered online and went to pick it up. The actual cafe is very small (and PACKED with people pre-covid). They sell cakes, cake slices, drinks, and individual pastries. Their Instagram account is also very responsive.
The ordering process on their site is easy and fast, with scheduled pickup dates. I ordered one of their seasonal orange creme brulee cakes. The cake itself looks beautiful with clean layers and luxurious decorations. It came on a cake

Ordered salted caramel cake for my husband’s birthday from here, it was a hit!
The cake was beautifully made, it had a rich salted caramel flavour, with chocolate mousse.
Picked up butter and a chocolate croissants, they were buttery and flaky, super good!
Service was super friendly and my order was ready to pick up as per schedule.
I found some discomfort in picking up the cake during usual work hours(pick up available only from 10am-2pm). I had to rush here during my lunch break, would have preferred to be able to pick something up after 4pm. Also, cakes cannot be customized. Not everybody

My second time eating here. Trafiq is a very popular lunch spot in Saturday’s. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my BEC on Focaccia which was delicious. Egg with bacon and a spicy tomato sauce. What really hits you when you arrive is the bakery treats. From giant slices of carrot cake, mini-cakes, cookies, and more. I tried a three choice tasting plate of the mini-cakes which were absolutely fabulous.
